"There are opening day pitchers, and pitchers who start on opening day." — Roger Craig.
I KNEW it would be Pavano because everyone was hurt that year.
traschel was good for my NYM and cubs (decent )
Hutch opening I believe the 2015 season for the jays was as weird as I can think of
I am always interested in more baseball youtubers, but saying "Guardians vs Indians, I don't really care" turns me off from this channel. It doesn't add color for me; just feels insensitive
Aaron See-Lee. You can hear the announcer in that same clip pronounce his name correctly.
Nee-Kro
forgotten players video with rolando arrojo? or ben grieve?
This dude sounds like Trevor Bauer
Mo Vaughn laying out George Bell never gets old
Aaron "See-Lee"
It's SEE-LEE
King Felix would start the next day and throw 7 scoreless innings, and the Mariners would lose because that’s what happens what King Felix starts for the Mariners. Oh, how sadly true that is.
Forgot Scott Feldman existed
As yes Drew Hutchison, he had so much potential to be good
You should make a video about the career of Matt Carpenter! His career is interesting from being a contact hitter early to almost hitting 40 home runs and then finally his quick descent to not being good anymore
I would unironically love a Ben Sheets video.
The fact the Angels had Ricky Nolasco and Trevor Cahill as opening day starters in the last 5 years sounds far more weird than a guy who grew up in Orange County ended up starting on opening day for them. And whoever gets the nod this year, it'll be the 6th different pitcher in a row for the Angels. The team record is 8 from 1997-2004, which shocked me since that covers my entire tenure of working for the team.
It’s guardians
Really thought Mike Parrot or Gaylord Perry would have been the Mariners pick
S C H E P P E R S
The weirdest Red Sox opening day starter for me is David Wells. Not just because of his Yankee past, but because it was in 2005, right after the curse was broken.
yes, yes, yessss would love a Ben Sheets video! have been really hoping to see him in MLB The Show one of these years, too!
I live in Bmore and I'm a lifelong O's fan and even I have no recollection of Kevin Millwood in 2010.
Ben Sheets!! A video would be great
Dude fausto carmona was dope for a couple years
Aaron Sele is pronounced Seelee not seal COME ON HISTORIAN!!!
Lol I remember Vance Worley. He was the starting pitcher at the first O's game I attended back in 2016. If I recall, he went 5 innings of 2 run ball!
10:45 please never say "private parts" again lmao
“Sealy” not “Seal”😎
Been sheets video yes pls
Also a video on every killer bee Astro player ever 🙂 long list ty
Sele's headfake @ 1:45 was textbook 😱
Jeez I thought it was Aaron Sele not Aaron "Seal" lol do you not know how to pronounce anybody's name?
As an Orioles fan Kevin Millwood was the first player I thought of when I saw the title
Can we talk about how absolutely bodied that White Sox player got when charging against Sele? I'm used to seeing slap fights in baseball, but that guy flew like The Rock selling a stunner.
