I was at the game no rooting interest it was the best sports event game ive ever seen the energy was insane wound up celebrating with all the japanese fans.

Small ball is definitely the perfect strategy for a global stage. Small ball allows you to always keep the momentum going. It’s why I believe MLB at the moment gets ‘boring’ once teams start hitting 2 or more home runs in the first half of the game it’s so hard for other teams to come back if they aren’t getting a home run. If you watched the game, the majority of it is all Mexico, they had amazing pitchers and good hits, but Japan just kept giving small opportunities for themselves to score. But the greatest development in Japanese baseball is the surge of genetically gifted individuals. I mean look at Ohtani, guy is taller than the typical Japanese but he his heavy. Not scrawny at all. You add that generic mix to the team, you have a fundamentally solid upbringing and a culture that nurtures uniqueness.
