巧打タイプかつかなり積極的な打撃スタイルで、三振がかなり少ない
マイナーでは安定した打率を維持するも現在のトレンドである待球ができないために評価はなかなか上がらず、昇格ができないままPHI→ATL→ARI→現MINと転々する状態であった。
しかしユーティリティ不足のMIN首脳陣の目はそれが可能な彼にとまり、2018年にスプリングトレーニングへ招待される等を経てついにメジャーデビュー。
体格からは想像できないハッスルなプレーの連発や陽気な性格から、着々とファンからの人気と信頼を築いてきている。
