I love Anthony Volpe and he's my Opening Day SS! That's all I have to say.
Let's go VOLPE!! Put so much pressure on the Yankees that we have to send him with us up north for opening day. Hope that happens. Imagine the crowd reaction when they announce his name as one of the players playing on opening day

3:15. That is an interesting observation by the announcer. Will Hicks hitting pick up again now that the opposition teams can no longer play 4 outfielders in right field? I have noticed that Hicks hasn't changed his swing, but is now getting hits again because the second baseman has to stay on the dirt. Interesting….
Love to see Judge having the season he had last year and still wanting to improve. Making that swing more compact and minimizing that leg kick may prove very valuable for our Captain. Looks good so far for sure. Go Stripes

Very nice looking game, (aside from the rundown DP, but they happen). Domingo looked very good, Volpe with an excellent game, not a ton of errors. Just what you want from a ST game really.
Always thought Andujar could have been great. Nice to see him get a chance on the Pirates.

My only take away from this Spring Training game is how heartbreaking it is to see Miguel Andujar playing for the Pirates instead of the Yankees. smh
I fucking hate Aaron hicks but I would love if he becomes a 270 batter.. hitting the ball well in the spring.. if he starts hitting, is a headache i would want, but definitely sit him on the playoff.. the man has no confidence in himself no more

Love Volpe but i think a AAA start for a month or 2 will benefit him ppl forget he only has 99 at bats at that level hitting just in the low .200s he young he is a Yankee slow down ppl is he is the real deal he will be here for a long time
