  1. I remember reading about him as a kid when I was doing a book report on Hank Aaron, but this is my first time ever watching video of him playing. Has a very amazing swing, amazes me how he lifts his front leg as the pitcher starts his windup and balances perfectly on his back leg until he strides forward and shifts his weight to his front leg. It's truly amazing to watch,I really love how the crowd gets into the games in Japan

  2. This is awesome!! My dad told me about how great he was when he was stationed in Japan. If only he played in the US.

  3. 黙って静かに動画みれねぇ~のかよ、否定的なアメリカ人よ🎵スポーツを素直に観れないのか?アホどもが❗(誰か俺のコメント英語に訳しておいて)。

  4. Shitty pitchers throwing meatballs at him, Smaller field (I heard everything is smaller in china and japan) and try hitting 60plus homers in a year…. OH hit 55….. USA WINS AGAIN

  7. 1973, New York Mets came to Japan to have friendly games.
Hank Aron also came , and Aron and Oh had a home run derby.
Aron won the competion by 10 – 9.

  8. I actually met Mr. Oh while lived in Japan for 7 1/2 years being a teenager at that time. One day, weekly baseball magazine decided to publish some of prominent baseball players' addresses including Mr. Oh's so I decided to go and visit him not just once but multiple times. If this were in the US, I would have been arrested for probably stalking but Japan is with different culture. He showed me a few tips on hitting. and was very gracious and even rode in his Mercedes to Tamagawa ground for practice before the game and I can still recall people's reaction when they saw me came out of his car.

  10. " Oh'' means ''King'' in Japanese.
He is really cool. He is respected by Ichiro.

  11. I hate the fact that some of the commentators down grade OH. Most of them have never saw him live on the field! I have and OH was a good hitter all the way! Great hitter can perform just fine no matter where he plays!

  12. The balance, and the transfer! Nobody dropped the head better than Oh. Legend.

  13. they played fewer game is a season in Japan..Oh only played 130 games a season com[pared to 162 in America..

  14. 代打王のコール初めて聞きましたそれでホームランとはさすが❤️

  15. How can he be a legend if he's still alive? I think the uploader meant living legend.

  16. japan America Goodwill Baseball
    career record
    109 matches 336 at-bats 86 hits 25 homers
    61 RBI 81 strikeouts 88 walks

  17. Former Phillies manager Charles Fuqua Manuel played in Japan during Wang's playing days. He speaks very highly of Wang. He played 110 games and hit 25 home runs in the Japan-U.S. Friendly Baseball Tournament. He also hit a home run off the famous George Thomas Seaver.
