    All of you are wrong! The runner slid & the tip of the glove caught the heal of the runners foot! Look again the throw was as great as it could get but the glove watch the glove & heal

    The cleat hit simultaneously as the catch & the 2nd baseman held on to the ball the runner, like it or not was out by a half inch graze but us OUT!

    Ump may have thought he tagged his cleats ..which IMO if had left glove down there they would ha e slide right into it!

    Looked safe to me.

    The one thing I did notice is at the moment, the fielder caught the ball there was a perceptible movement of the glove. Did the glove touch the runners foot at the same moment he caught the ball? If so…. then the runner is out.
