    Ok let’s get this straight. First off, congrats kid, welcome to the bigs. Two. Hendriks is far from the closer he used to be. With an upper 90’s fastball and a meh slider with horrible command and a lot of swearing, he is no better than any other starter in baseball. Not dissing Stowers, but Hendriks ain’t even close to being one of the better relievers in the game.

    My grandmother was a Maryland woman most of her life, a steadfast Baltimore fan-all through the Earl Weaver and Cal Ripkin Jr days… would’ve loved to see this one…. It was nice to see.🤙
