Scott Rolen had a 17 year MLB career, in which he received many accolades for his glove work, and for his potent bat in the lineup for 4 MLB clubs: The Phillies, Cardinals, Reds, and Blue Jays. His 70.1 WAR is higher than many current Hall of Famers, and luckily for Rolen, the voters finally woke up. In his 6th year on the ballot, the voters finally realized that he was more than deserving of their vote after having an accomplished career in which he won 8 gold gloves, won a World Series, Rookie of the Year, as well as making 7 all star teams. Congrats to Scott Rolen, because he is more than deserving of this honor.
