Aaron Judge became the first player to record 8 strikeouts in a double header since the formation of the live-ball era on Monday night. Mike Fiers got the start for the Tigers, who defeated the Yankees 4-2 in game two of the double header. Fiers struck out six, with two walks, and two ER in 5.2 IP. For New York, Domingo German took the mound and had three strikeouts, two walks, and four ER through 6.2 IP. Shane Greene recorded his 15th save of the season. Giancarlo Stanton, who had been struggling as of late, hit the game”s lone home run – a 456 ft blast into left field.

Judge 0 for 9 . 8 strikeouts i think a few ( rest days ) are due. I dont understand him guessing pitches. He has watched fastballs down the middle and never took the bat off his shoulder.

I agree, simplebest. Judge looking at strike 3's? Rule of thumb in hitting is when you're down 2 strikes, swing at anything near the strike zone.

I don’t care how many home runs you hit in a season but, striking out 8 times in 2 games is just unacceptable at that level. He fucked his team over and lost the 2nd game with that performance.
