If Rodriguez had hustled a bit after hitting that grounder to the always-stylin' Chisholm, he'd have been safe at first. MLB's laziness problem gets worse every season. To the point where a notoriously lazy fielder is able to throw out players who are themselves being absurdly lazy.
Judge simply has too many holes in his swing, was too easy to strike-out, still has never adjusted to hit anything mid thigh or lower, and is exceedingly vulnerable to anything off-speed or breaking pitch on the outer-lower quadrants. Yes he will hit his sapphire of home-runs, but not against good pitchers.
Over the past several seasons the Yankees have gotten off to blistering starts, only to fade badly in late July August, through September, playing barely .500 ball during that time span.
