I like this team. I know there weren't any huge upgrades from last year, but we were pretty damn good last year, even despite that horrid mid season slide. There's some questions with Grisham, Bellinger, and Rice, none of them have shown last year's production consistently, so any of them could backslide. I still think Wells could break out and have a monster year, he's got the tools, he just needs to cut back on his chase rate. Schlittler could be a legitimate monster, his stuff is nasty. He's gonna face a lot of challenges but I see as much potential in him as I've seen in any young starter in recent years, I really mean that, his ceiling could be a Cy Young caliber ceiling. I think the make or break factor is going to be the bullpen.
Dominguez, Volpe and Spencer Jones hopefully in this lineup. Three guys that can barely hit .200 and will have more errors than HRs. As a Yankees hater nothing would make me happier
The division is loaded. Pete Alonso is going to get guys in the line-up more fastballs in Baltimore. Red Sox might be as easy to predict to win the division as any team. This entire season is coming down who gets luckiest. The Jays are loaded, too. Ponce looks good so far. The Yankees are winning over 90 games, whether you like that or not. Tampa has an interesting team. They're always hard to play.
