  1. Really weird. Umpire at 3rd called both runners out and then calls one of them out again because he was walking to the dugout after already being called out? I'm just as confused as the runners

  2. Boycott Wrigley Fields now! Da loveable losers forevers cubbies gots no heart. Dis team b da worsters team in da history of sports. PCA MVP 😂🤣. Cubbies moves tos Dalton an b Dalton Duds. Words. 🥃🍺🤤🪦😎🌛👍🇺🇸😂🤣

  3. MLB is an empty shell of its former self. They literally tolerate bad defense, bad base running, horrible contact, but glorify a .190 hitter who strikes out 250 times but has 40 hr. Tony Gwynn would be beside himself if saw today's MLB.

  4. With Bregman at first and Shaw at second, Suzuki lifts a flare into short right. The second baseman Arraez goes backwards, catches the ball on the bounce and throws to the first baseman Devers (I think) in the middle of the diamond. He throws to the shortstop Adames covering second, where he tags Suzuki out. In the meantime, Shaw runs through third, but then figures he can't make it home safely, so he retreats to third, leaving Bregman with nowhere to go. Bregman could jog back to second and let Adames tag him out, and that would probably end the play, but for some reason, he decides to run to third (where Shaw still is), and Adames goes over and tags first Shaw and then Bregman. The third base umpire points to Shaw and calls him safe, then points to Bregman and calls him out, so Bregman goes back to the dugout. Shaw at first stays on the bag, but then inexplicably decides to walk off the bag as well. The third baseman Chapman, who had gotten the ball from Adames, then goes to tag Shaw out, finishing the triple play 4-3-6-5.

  5. Good on that ump at 3rd to know who wasn’t supposed to be there and kept his eye on the runner who was until the play was over.
