  1. What is Edward Cabrera? a talented pitcher that also comes with injuries concerns. we don't need more of that having Cole Rodon and schmidt in the injury list for some time this upcoming season. we also have available Fried who raises eyebrows and let's not even bring Gil into this conversation. I think the cubs saved us from ourselves.

  2. If they got him and his elbow goes the same people who are bitching now about not getting him would be bitching that he’s another Montas

  3. Ryan here we go again the Yankees are doing nothing at all but waiting for Cody bellinger to see if he wants to come back or go somewhere else sad they can't do anything because of that wow really 😢

  4. I said this the other day. Cabrera was going to another team simply because there were rumors out there that he was close to being traded to the Yankees, including specific players named. The Yankees DON'T leak. It serves them no purpose. That means it was coming from the Marlins, using the Yankees to drive up the prospect price from the team he'd eventually be traded to. Marlins do this regularly.

  5. Scherzer or Verlander seems like a Yankee-type move, any chance? They are projected at 8-9m/1y. Montgomery is also projected under 3m.

  6. In my opinion Cabrera isn’t as good as Schlittler and it is a little too injury prone for my liking. Cole, Fried, Schlittler, Rodon, & Gil are all better starters than Cabrera. Warren could potentially be better than Cabrera in 2026.

  7. My feeling is They are gonna sign Bellinger once his price tag drops.. it’s always a cat and mouse game with Boras Clients. then trade Spencer Jones or Dominguez for a top end SP (Hopefully Peralta) that’s my prediction/Hope.

  8. I’m not upset at all. I agree that the Yankees need a solid starter, but I was far too worried about his medical background.

  9. "tt's my Party" and Gore is my pick for a trade. His arm is above average and his contract situation is ideal. Book it.

  10. Listen,if the Yankees don't get a stud starter,or go after a trade for a guy like Tatis, then they have no chance at winning the division or beating the Dodgers. They had Bellinger last year and weren't good enough for a very long period after the first two months.

  11. A partial tear of the UCL is a potential problem that can't be just ignored. By August he'll be ready for Tommy John.

  12. I'm thinking if Cashman loses Bellinger then plan B will be a pitcher. They want to stay under that last luxury tax threshold number

  13. Watch video of Ben Hess, Elmer Rodriguez Cruz and Carlos LaGrange pitch and then come back and tell me that we need to get a starting pitcher. The rotation to start the year will be: 1) Fried, 2) Gil, 3) Warren, 4) Schlittler and 5) Yarbrough / Blackburn but by June the rotation will be: 1) Fried, 2) Cole, 3) Rodon, 4) Gil and 5) Schlittler / Warren. If you need a spot starter here and there or you need a pitcher to come up from AAA Ben Hess is ready. Hess is 23 will be 24. Cruz is only 22. WE DON'T NEED PITCHING!!!

  14. I hope the team gets boycotted by the fanbase. No GS subscriptions, no tickets to games. Make Hal remind himself of the cheap owner he is. If he wasn’t cheap he would sign Tucker or Bellinger and a star shortstop.

  15. Yankees dodged the bullet by the Cubs getting Cabrera. Peralta is the way to go. He will be a FA so his cost wouldn't be astronomical.
