HahahA!! He was so passionate, it’s what endeared him to Sox fans.
It sounds like Hawk had turned into a grouch in his later years in the booth. I hadn't heard him for a long time but I don't remember him being like that when I listened to him back in the 90's.
I love listening to Hawk. When my Orioles play CHI, I always tuned in to the Sox broadcast.
Hawk was just mad that he was going to be tired for his tee time in the morning
Sheesh, I’ve never heard a broadcaster so despondent on the air. I half expected to hear a gunshot during one of the long, awkward silences.
It falls. Ha.
I love, love, love, when Hawk suffers. I remember when JD Martinez came back from the DL, and the first pitch he saw was a go-ahead HR off of Chris Sale, and Hawk was silent for about 3 minutes after the crack of the bat 😂
Even guys making a million bucks can still play like 8 year olds. Brain farts.
A crappy call from an even crappier broadcaster.
Would’ve been hilarious to hear Hawk’s meltdown if the next batter bounced a home run off an outfielder’s head (see Canseco) to take the lead.
All on the catcher if he was silent.
“Thats hard to believe”😭😭😭😭😭😭
beckham a great disappointment–sucked….
He is every emotionally abusive little league coach I had come to life in the form of a play by play man.
Sad Hawk is the best Hawk.
Beckham looked like he had money on the Mutts to win.
At least they still went on to win the game.
“Lord have mercy.” It always gets me.😅😅😅
Sounds like me coaching my kids 😂
Hawk is so angry that he doesn't even make his "He Gone" call at the end, instead ""You gotta be kidding me, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!'
Lol. What a terrible announcer, befitting a terrible team. A complete national laughingstock.
During the last part, it almost felt like Hawk was ready to leave the booth and teach Beckham how to play baseball😂😂
1:06 I'm sorry but you really shouldn't need anyone to be a "traffic cop" on that easy of a play 😂
Gotta think Hawk hit the cough button and dropped a few expletives.
I like how you can just feel the tension for the rest of the inning ☠️☠️
Beckham 100% had a new girlfriend during this game and really wanted to show off.
It looked like Beckham bet money against his own team.
Did Beckham have a bet on that game or something? Because that has to be one of the dumbest, most unnecessary errors ever made. Did he think he was the only defensive player on the field? Not a big Hawk Harrelson fan, but I feel his pain on this one.
Who's here after the White Sox did one against the Orioles
I can only imagine how Hawk Harrelson would be reacting if he were still the play by play announcer for the White Sox. 0:19 is the way the Chicago White Sox have played all season long. 121 losses !!
Looked like Gordon Beckham had $500K on the 0ver 8 runs
I honestly don’t remember this as a Mets fan lol.
