As a Padres fan I always admired Hader and wished he was on my team. This year, my dream came true! Thank you Brewers I know this had to be tough for you fans, but rest assured we will take very good care of him in SD, he was lights out in the playoffs and brought tears to my eyes watching him close out the Dodgers! Thanks again.
Josh is still my favorite Brewer. He is gone but not forgotten. One thing the drove me nuts was the idiot organist. Never play when the opposing team is up.
I remember tuning into this game because I had Hader on my Fantasy Baseball team. I remember googling “is there a term for striking out the side on nine pitches?” After the second strikeout. Crazy good stuff.

9 pitches, 9 fastballs, 0% chance to touch him
You know your stuff is nasty when you throw the same pitch down the heart of the plate and the batter whiffs at it.
Catcher: Hey, you wanna throw a change or breaking ball?
Hader: Sure, as soon as they touch my fastball 🙂
hader has very awesome pitching form. I love it.
I like the way he calms himself down before he pitches
Catcher still signaling pitches… 🙂
Are we all just ignoring that this was 9 STRAIGHT FASTBALLS
HADER is DOMINANT
Here before he’s a Padre 🤷🏽♂️
Grandal was like just throw the ball as hard as you can.
Please let the deal to Padres go through
The fact this happened against the Shitbirds makes it that much sweeter.
And yes, I respect you, STL.
I was there!
dude is basically a jug machine…
all fastballs too
Yuhhh
Hey Ma! I’m on TV!!! (Context, my dad, myself and my brother are the 3 guys with their arms folded above the Linenkugels sign)
He was my brothers friend in high school
Couldn't have been a more boring play by play.
9 heaters 🔥
All fastballs. Hides the ball well.
when he is locating he's virtually unhittable
9 straight well located fastballs. Still the best pitch in baseball.
all fastballs 2
Miss him this era
Haders became a Padres
He ALMOST did this again last night. 10 pitches for 3 strikeouts to send the Padres to the NLCS.

The last pitch was out of the strike zone. Good that the batter went for it.
I was at this game, what a feeling
Welcome to the H 🤘
9 fastballs in a row without a single foul tip is absolutely bonkers
It’s crazy to me to throw an immaculate inning is like a short version of a no hitter

Now THAT’S how you close a game out lol.
josh Hader is my favorite pitcher. I have been a life long hader fan even though he got traded from Millwaukee. I would love to meet him one day!
>Comes in in the last inning.
>Throws 9 strikes, winning the game.
>Leaves without elaborating.
Glad he's in Houston!
