  1. If you were an NFL team and your kicker could never make the FG at the end of games what would you do? Get a new kicker, right. Way past time.

  2. As per Hoffman, 30 saves vs 7 blown over 62 innings pitched is not the worst guys. Hoff's saves are a part of the Jays success. If he was off the team like many of you want the Blue Jays wouldn't have as many wins as they do and they certainly wouldn't be in first. Go read the stats at Fox sports okay and cool your jets, it's a team sport more than any other, you cannot blame one guy. You think when a drummer breaks a stick or a singers voice cracks mid song all the fans and band mates turn their backs on that musician? Such fake fans.

  3. Hoffman just keeps serving up fat hardballs over the plate. He sends them in with an invitation. Try pitching them high inside, low away, try painting the corners like a professional pitcher.

  4. A bunch of you are late to the Hoffman calling to be demoted party from the closer role.

I've been calling for a long time now for Hoffman to be demoted and for Nance or Seranthony Rodriguez or Yariel Rodriguez to be the closer instead.

Any of those guys will do way better than Hoffman.

Thanks for nothing Shapiro and Atkins for bringing this crappy pitcher when you could've brought a way better pitcher, but since you are inept and bad at your position in the organization you brought us an awful pitcher to close games. How's closing games going for you? More like blowing games. But, our genius smart manager John Schneider keeps losing games for us too. Yes, it's also his responsibility to not blow the games. But, what can we expect from a Double A-level manager? Once again it goes back to Shapiro Atkins duo for having a manager that keeps making the same dumb decisions costing us games

  5. Buddy Schneider needs to make an executive decision because Hoffman keeps fkn us. We would probably be like 7 games up if it wasn’t for this dude

  6. When will they learn! Hoffman is not a closer! My god !!! Are you seriously thinking if you make the playoffs and that’s a big IF you are using him to close games in a tight game?

  7. Con 2 veces campeónes de la MLB los astros quieren llamar la atención 😛 pero su papá yankees tiene 28 campeonatos y Houston es el segundo en la lista o sea el peor en la historia de la MLB

  8. I’ve been a Jays fan since ‘86, but they need to start moving runners with more bunting and base stealing. They leave way too many runners in scoring position. I won’t comment on relief pitchers and closer, but they won’t win a World Series with what they’ve been using at the moment. No chance against a team like the Dodgers.

  9. Always that 500 million dollar “superstar” to groundout to end the inning and momentum

  10. Astros accidentally won the game whoever they play in the playoffs they going to lose they're going to be watching the world series at home

  11. We’re gonna have to demote a starter to the closer role if we’re gonna stand a chance in the playoffs. Hoffman is washed.

  12. Our team has great offensive players but they are in a rut. The Astros just can't score runs….I guess its just one of those things. I've been waiting for the momentum swing that doesn't come. I think tomorrow we will be tied for first.Over last 30 games we score 3.2 runs per game.

  13. 7:44 – Who else caught that Seinfeld reference? "The summer of Jason Alexander continues" – the Seinfeld character George was played by the actor Jason Alexander, and there's an episode where George declares it's "The Summer Of George"

  14. Home run Hoffman does it again. When it's Hoffman's turn to pitch could Toronto at least make an announcement asking if anyone in the crowd can throw a pitch other than a home run ball.
