  1. The fact of the matter is the bigger the moment the harder Chapman chokes. Today was barely a moment at all.

  2. Chapman becomes superhuman once again with three 101 MPH pitches to get the last strikeout! Save #30! We needed this win to go one up on the Astros for the 2nd wildcard spot.

  3. Chapman now has 30 saves (Sept 14) and is one of the main reasons the Red Sox have stayed in the postseason hunt. He is now at #13 on the all-time saves list with 365 —- #12 on the list is Jeff Reardon with 367 and #11 is Jonathan Papelbon with 368 —– The 37-year-old Cuba native is an eight-time All-Star, two-time World Series champion (2016 Chicago Cubs, 2023 Texas Rangers) and was named the 2019 American League Reliever of the Year.
