Against a split finger pitcher you've got to be less aggressive. It's hard laying off that low dropping pitch. I'm giving that young man a tip of the hat for his days work in this one.

Why do the Braces keep picking up bullpen "help" that have been released 8 times in 8 months & expect em to turn into Mariano Rivera? The bullpen is full of pitchers with an era that is over 5.00, & then wonder why they can't hold onto a 2 run lead in the 8th. I'm telling you, somebody in the front office wants the ole Braves to lose. The backup shortstop has a better ERA than all but 2 of the bullpen dudes😂
I get we won three out of four, however, I have a pretty huge problem with Rob Thompson. This game gave me Craig kimbrell ptsd vibes. Rob Thompson pulled this kid out when he was pitching a gem. There were two outs already. You don't fix something that's not broken. And when you do, this is usually the result. Thompson pulls out pitchers when he shouldn't in games and then he puts other pitchers in bad situations. Stop trying to fix what wasn't broken. Bozo move to pull him out when he did.
Someone needs to tell Rob Thompson that whenever he gets a feeling about taking a pitcher out of a game, instead of acting on that impulse, do the exact opposite and that's going to be the right choice. Do the opposite. Because this guy pulls pitchers out of games at thee most inopportune moments. Kid was pitching a beautiful game and we were rolling right on through to the ninth. Two outs, one man on first..let's pull him out. What the actual f. Seriously it reminded me of the Craig kimbrell world series disaster. This manager tries fixing things that aren't broke. There was no need to not let this kid finish the inning at the very least. Total bozo
