  1. This was already five years ago… damn, but just seeing the players’ faces and what they must have been feeling is heartbreaking

  2. i am new to baseball, and this is absolutely touching. this hurt to watch. the marlins lost a teammate who meant so much to them. i cry every time i see a replay of this. i couldnt imagine what they went through at the time. rest easy #16 jose fernandez. i know you saw that home run that dee gordon hit for you.

  3. I'm a Padres fan I was was drenching my shirt with tears after listening to this.

  4. Jose Fernandez will be the greatest what if story of the century. The Marlins were loaded with talent that year, Yelich, Ozuna, and Stanton in the same outfield. If JDF doesn’t go boating, i say the Marlins don’t blow it up after the sale.

  5. Loss of life is always sad. Especially when it’s someone as close as a teammate but imo, this man sullied all his on field accomplishments when he got behind the helm of his boat intoxicated and proceeded to take his life and two others. “Glory, built on selfish principles, is shame and guilt.”

  6. Jose Fernandez was pass away in 7 years. 7 years ago, Every Marlins player were wearing NO.16 for the Jose Fernandez. Including former "Taiwanese pitcher" Wei-yin Chen(2016~2019). Wei-yin Chen first time challenge MLB, he was in Orioles(2012~2015). Also in 2020, Wei-yin Chen(Mariners)has been the highest-paid baseball player of the 2020 MLB season at $22 million. Because the COVID-19.

  7. It’s insane to think how long ago this was…I hope Miami gets a series one day, play hard from Atlanta!

  8. Whoever's idea it was it to play take me out to the ball game with the trumpet after the moment of silence was amazing. One of the most memorable tributes ever.

  9. If I Had Watched This Tribute As a Phillies Fan i Would Had Bawling My Eyes Out of Tears No Joking!
