  3. Everyone nowadays thinks a 440 homer is some somehow beyond great. I'M almost 70 and saw players like Richie Allen hit many a balls over the Connie Mack Stadium roof. He and Willie McCovey cleared the big old scoreboard in right center. Those were truly mammoth home runs.
