Honestly the Brewers been a above average team for a while but we've had managers that had different motives that costed us at least 10 or more wins a season and Counselor I mean Counsell is proof…. U can't tell me he wasn't talking to the Cubs while "trying" to win with the Crew… He benefited for managing the Brewers not the other way around… Short story long having the talent partnered with a players coach and staff produces wins and its that simple!!!!

Great teams make their own great luck. Bottom 10th, Hayes hits the double that could have been a triple but right fielder kicks it over the fence for a double,and that could have changed the outcome. Before that the top 9th, the throwing error by De LaCruz allows the tying run to score, then top 11th, Hayes and pitcher nearly collide on a bunt causing runner to be safe at first then 3 run homer to seal it. They get the breaks because they play smart and have incredible chemistry
