I think Ohtani would usually just watch the pitch on a 3-1 count for a chance at a walk, but it was too fat to not swing at for him.😂
his eye was so good this at bat. literally only swung at strikes. and the scariest thing is that Shohei can HR any ball… inside, outside, low, high doesn't matter. that pitcher must've been nervous. Plus othani always bats so confidently, chin up, emotionless and BAM. HR.

Ohtani is so cool, calm, and confident at the plate. I could watch him bat all day. Truly amazing. I'm a 68-year-old lady and bought myself an Ohtani Dodgers shirt. Games are blocked on TV in my area, (San Luis Obispo, 200 miles from LA), so fortunately I get to watch all the highlights on YouTube. Go Blue! I'll watch the World Series at a local restaurant as I did last year. This year in my nifty new shirt! 💙
