You gotta see this! The Colorado Rockies were down 9-0 to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first inning, and then utter CHAOS ensued in the 9th! The last team to give up 9 in the first inning and go on to win was Cleveland in August of 2006 😮

  1. If you wish to know why base ball is the greatest sport of all, this is why. I looked in and PGH had a 9-1 lead in the 2nd with two on. Cool. Then Terri Smith read the final during the Angels game and I almost spit out my coffee! I been watching or listening to this game well nigh sixty year, and you feel like there's nothing you ain't seen. I'm a lifelong Pirate fan but you can only tip your hat to any team that battles back like that. Bravo Rox!

  2. Isn't this what we want from baseball to bring in new viewers? High scoring crazy games. Both teams played miserably at times, but most casual spectators would probably rather watch this than an actual "perfect game".

  3. When both teams are laughing stocks of the league, this isn't shocking. These teams are like watching Angel Reese play against herself in the WNBA.

  4. Dennis Santana blowing a save that didn't exist will always be the second best part for me

The best part is Doyle doing Doyle things

  5. Those Rockies City Connect uniforms rival the Padres City Connect clown suits for sheer foolishness. Whoever is responsible for them should receive, at least, a stern talking-to.

  6. Weakest uniform in professional sports – and an accurate reflection of how Colorado (Rockies and entire state) have lost their way. 9th inning heroics emblematic of better times, though.

  7. is nobody gonna talk about the disabled man in the very beginning that almost got annihilated by the homer

  8. Credit to the Rockies players, coaches, etc. To have 80 losses in the beginning of August… and to be down 9-0 after 1/2 an inning. And down 9 again a few innings later, and persevere on both sides of the diamond to keep fighting, and come back and win. In an otherwise forgettable season for the Rockies, this can be something to hang the hats in, and try to build off of. Good for them. ☮️🐺
