Technically what happened tonight is not a “catcher’s balk” rather it’s an “illegal equipment violation”. A catcher’s balk is not an official term regarding the rule book but it is commonly used in reference to an action by a catcher that causes a pitcher to balk. In the scorebook it is listed as a balk by the pitcher. I found this out today!

kind of late to start winning now, Braves will never catch the teams in front of them. Snitker is such a loser that 1-8 start confirmed to me that the season is lost and he is the worse coach ever. All that talent on offense and pitching they should be 15 games over 500 at a minimum. He is horrible at getting the best out of his players
these boys get paid too much to be as bad as they are. Snit letting sale get that deep into the count is absolute retard city. He's the only reliable guy on the rotation.

What continues to amaze me is the amount of folks in great seats behind home plate who look at their dadgum phones all the time! There's an MLB game being played mere feet in front of you!
Was there a reason why Chris Sale didn't finish the game? Unusual decision to take him off with 2 out in the top of the 9th and up 5-0.
The Braves are a side that could go far post season when it all clicks – which of course is the problem as it hasn't so far consistently.
In patches in games they look good but not for complete games.
Ozzie Albies hits a lead off triple and doesn't score – you need to score at least 1 run in that at bat .
The Braves have a lot of improvement in them and a lot to work on still.

Wasn’t shown in this video but my favorite part of the game was in the 9th they kept panning back to the dugout and every single pitcher on the team was standing at the railing of the top of the dugout cheering him on.
Man Acuna is just something else. Really hope he can stay healthy this time.
