  1. Rhys not struggling at 1B for once so far this year is making having a backup 1B seem redundant. I see why bauers is supposedly on the block

  2. That homepage umpire gives rise to conspiracies that the league wants the Cubs to win. That 9th inning was apopletically brutal.

  3. Any other job… you perform that blatantly awfully and you’d be subject to consequences. In MLB, you just shrug and say it’s part of the game. Doesn’t have to be. Strikes can be strikes & balls can be balls. The system is already there. Umpires are redundant and obsolete.

  4. Even 2 awful calls against the Brewers (Uribe has a 0 run inning if it's called correct) and still overcome. Next year this is an 8-5 win.

  5. 100% thing that the only reason they have any wins. This season, it's because they stole our coach. How to take counsel just to get some wins

  6. I am so happy that as a Brewers fan, i can say that i wasnt needlessly hating on the cubs by thinking that "umpire" was horrible while watching the game live. Absolutely brutal and im so happy that the Crew stuck it out!

  7. I used to be against it, but it is time to let the technology call balls and strikes. Too many atrocious bad calls in too many games, and nothing happens to the umps that blow these calls and affect the games. That being said, a very good win!

  8. Brewers vs. Cubs on 6/19/25 had everything fans could ask for — big hits, clutch pitching, and late-inning drama. These MLB Highlights are a must-watch for any baseball lover!

  9. It's always great to see Craig Counsell-out lose to the Brewers! Isaac Collins has been on a nice stretch. The hitting had gotten a spark there for a bit, but it sort of fell off a bit. Jackson Chourio is another one who's been getting some knocks. I wish just a bit more consistency with the hitting would happen. However one other thing that is puzzling me. Why is DL Hall being used as a relief pitcher? Are they limiting his pitches because of his prior injuries? Which I guess makes sense. But Aaron Civale being put into the relief role is a move I'm also not sure about? I know he was NOT happy with it and I didn't think he was pitching that bad. There's been some other pitchers who haven't been able to find their place.
