Trade deadline needs 3B, Starting Pitcher, and a better outfielder. Send Dominguez back down to AAA, Go get Nolan Arenado from the Cardinals, and make a big splash at starting pitcher like Paul Skenes that’s what George would do. That’s how he built championship teams. 09 Yankees were stacked. Had over 5 guys with 10+ home runs.

Where are all of Jazz hits?
Boone is overplaying Grisham. He needs to sit for 2 or 3 games to sort of do a reset. His bat has really cooled off. He's down in Juan Soto territory (😅) w a .239 ba now. Grisham is having a career year but mostly because his potential as a power hitter has been unleashed. He could hit 30 hr's. But he performs best as a platoon guy who gets into perhaps 125 games. As a hitter that's where his rhythm seems to be. I certainly understand why Boone is trying to stretch him out to a regular starter. But it's resulted in a slow decline in Grisham's timing as a hitter. Some players are at their best as part timers who get into about 65-75% of games. Grisham seems to be one of those guys. The player who needs to be in the lineup just about every game is Jasson Dominguez. I think he needs to play just about every game so he can blossom as an MLB hitter. He's close to a real breakout, but quite not there yet. As a ballclub they're playing well. Winning games and leading the division. In fact I like this ballclub more than any other since Boone became mgr. They're very close to being a championship quality team. If they pickup a couple of solid pieces before the July trading deadline they could be the club they need to be to finally break all the way through to a WS winner. The best use of Grisham's abilities will be an important part of that club. And that would mean he sits out 2-3 of every 10 games. As a hitter his timing seems to be at it's best when he gets those regular off days.
