  1. That’s better today…still Volpe and Jazz need to take a breath, pressing too much indeed…🙏🏼⚾️💙

  2. Weaver's look was " I'm cool with the set up role". LOL. Joking aside he's been awesome but it really proves that closing a game is tough.
Williams didn't allow one hit harder than 71mph in that loss to Tampa. I really want to believe he will get on track.
Great win for the boys today!!! Rodon did good. We had many chances to put these guys away. We need to pound these teams when the opportunity arises. I know we are the best team in the AL when healthy.
I like the idea of Goldy behind Judge.
Maybe put Grisholm in the 3rd hole on Friday

  3. Jazz and volpe have been struggling for a while now. Looks like every at bat they’re swinging for the fences. At what point do coaches tell them to put less arch on that swing and just get solid contact. We can use 2 speedsters in the bases way more than 2 joey gallos in the lineup. Hell thats what made volpe so dangerous in the playoffs he would always get solid contact on the ball and be a problem on the bases. Why would he change that approach?

  4. Yes, in this scenario, the batter is still credited with an RBI, even though the run scored due to an error. An RBI is awarded to the batter who drives in a run, regardless of whether the run itself is considered earned. The fact that the center fielder made an error doesn't negate the fact that the batter's hit was what brought the runner in

  5. THE YANKEES PITCHER IS WEARING GODZILLA NUMBER HIDEKI MATSUI NUMBER. HIS NUMBER SHOULD BE RETIRED AMONG THE YANKEES GREAT.

  6. The era of SSs like Aparicio, Campaneris, Concepción, Vizkel, Bowa, and many others, with .275 bats, 40+ stolen bases, and seasons with up to 6 or fewer errors, will never return. When SSs started hitting HRs, appreciation for the great work they did was forgotten. Now, any SS wants to hit the fence because that's where the money is. This is part of the death of the true baseball!
