yeah i don't like the new pitch clock rule. the chess battle between pitcher and batter is half the fun. the strategizing and so on. its all very cat-and-mouse. i love it
This nonsense has. permanently compromised the integrity of baseball. Nice work MLB.
The result of a shared dillusion that "pace" is the reason younger generations aren't watching games….not the $400 a seat ticket price?…or the greed-fueled network TV blackouts in place, at every opportunity? Mmmm….wonder if those factors play into the issue!?! Want young people to watch baseball?…give them an actual opportunity to watch it. (without emptying their pockets, and without the endless string of technicalities & violations that, ironically, confuse and frustrate the audience you're trying to attract). Facepalm. Job well done…
My problem is thhe pitcher waiting on the batter to get set…they fart around in the box by not looking at the pitcher…the ump doesnt see it cuz he is looking at the pitch clock.
I get the reason why for the pitch clock but if the person is already in motion on the wind up, ignore it. Only call violation if the guy has not started yet not when he’s in the middle of it. 0:26

I’m not like the time clock and the other rules it ruins the game
Baseball isn’t standing around! Throw the ball, hit the ball and catch the ball.

Too many stupid rules, is why I stopped watching football in 1999. I’d stop watching baseball but there’s hardly any games on TV to begin with.
So, has the outcome of any game been affected by a pitch clock violation yet?
Can a pitcher see the clock? Also, is it speeding up the games?
Boycott this season

Some of the umps point so dramatically lol
What a fake sport
Really interested in how you got all of these clips – are they available on Baseball Savant or something?
Love the new rules..I really dislike all the darn pitching changes.

Sorry guys, this was my idea. Unfortunately the umpires are taking up too much time to make the call. Let's fix that.
Can’t see clock. Re do with circle on clock

Ironically the ump is causing an even longer delay than the pitcher.
