He's been really bad for us , he used to be a good pitcher , but now he's curveball and fastball ONLY he's easy to hit and figure out
Of courses he's being traded. Sonny doesn't have the mentality to pitch in New York City.
Torreyes is gone. The Yanks need Corbin
He has to go, trade him for a great starter, not good, great starter
For his own Good, and for his own sanity, he MUST leave Wankerland. The Fans don't want him, and the team likely doesn't want him. A Change of scenery is desperately needed for this dude.
Maybe he returns home to Oakland? They could use a Good Starting Arm like him again.
But there are many possible places he could end up. Let's see where this goes.
unlike some Yankee fans i don't think Gray's tough year has to do with NY bc that excuse is overrated. look at Rothschild he sucks as a pitching coach if anyone is to blame it's him for not being able to get Sonny right. i like Sonny and i know he can succeed here this is a man that was a ace for the A's. when we got him in 17 he had good starts those starts we didn't score runs for him with some bad defense behind him. at times this year we saw he can be good and bad but you have to look at who's coaching him. Rothschild should been fired when Kevin long got fired it's so easy to say a guy can't play in NY bc you quit on him. so if a Paxton or a Corbin should we sign him struggled here i hope NYY fans don't say oh they can't pitch in NY it's BS.
my Yankees made Sonny into a 2 pitch pitcher rather then using all his pitches that's why he struggled. he relied on his fastball and curveball rather then his other pitches like his cutter, slider, changeup.
Sonny regardless of what happens i will never forget your gm 4 2017 start vs HOU in the ALCS. you threw 5 innings of 1 run ball Yankees fans quick to forget that. you have the stuff and if you are here or elsewhere i'm still a fan bc i see your stuff. when your on and right no one can touch you.
