ECU baseball opener faces weather threats

The college baseball season is set to begin tomorrow, but weather conditions may impact the schedule. East Carolina University (ECU) fans are eager to see the team in action, especially with 31 new players on the roster. Among the familiar faces is Dixon Williams, a former DH Conley star, who is expected to make a significant impact.

Head Coach Cliff Godwin said he had to rely on the transfer portal more than ever before and is curious to see how the new team members will integrate. ECU will host George Mason, with Ethan Norby starting on the mound. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
