One of the most emotional things I've ever witnessed in sports.
the Mets never should have traded Flores, he was a good player
It’s always ok for your emotions to be shown that’s what makes you special and well respected by the fans of baseball worldwide
Does he still play for them? Thought I seen him at first base last night
Keep wilmer good luck charm
So much for all that drama. …. dude never left
He's still with the mets and the mets are not regretting keeping him he's definitely our best hitter
00:13 titties
Good luck in Arizona Flores 🔥💪🏽 you’ll be missed
Welcome to Arizona
Nothin' but heart. All heart.
0:13 The World Series loss coupled with Flores official departure, I now can say that my favorite part of the video has always been those gorgeous…
I was there I
I cried watching this. Never have a seen a player love playing for the Mets like Wilmer has.
2 years later the same Mets fans talked about how bad Wilmer Flores was
Don’t worry he hit a homerun today against the Mets in citi
It’s crazy looking back now. If this trade actually happened Houston would have never made the deal with the Brewers to get Gomez that would have ultimately included whistleblower mike Fiers. We may not have ever known the full extent of the sign stealing scandal. Wilmer Flores crying was the first of many events that would ultimately lead to the firings of Hinch and Beltran and change the course of baseball history forever
I don’t care what name is on his jersey at the moment, this game proved he’s a true met
This is the one time it's ok to cry in baseball. NY to Milwaukee? Damn.
This is why baseball is such a great sport. I like football too, but football fans and players are less mature
"How can you not be romantic about baseball?"
i thought it said ovulation
He wasn't traded after this.
He shouldn’t have gotten traded he was literally crying because he didn’t want to leave the team it’s his home his life
Where did Flores go to?
Godbless man I love to see this not him crying but him showing a lot of love for the game
Example 645 of the Mets having no clue how to handle young players. Armed Rosario is hitting .270…Big marquee names is what they usually covet ,you know the one's that are hitting .219 not to mention a pitcher with a peg leg. " You're doing a good job Brownie er..I mean Sandy.
I feel for him I understand the tears nothing wrong with tears it’s normal
Love him on the Giants now
The fact that they're so easily disposable is kinda sad.
The way the announcers talk about him crying is the reason men are afraid to cry in public
One of the saddest baseball moments I can remember. And how wonderful that it had a happy ending.
Poor millionaire lol
check swing flores
David Wright, a true leader. Captain through & through.
Its okey to cry nothin wrong with that I hope terry didn't say quit cryin or something like that. He's very emtionally fragile here and needs to be talked to gently. I've been battling deppression which has created a lot of tears for me and I know its a different circumstance here but kindness can do wonders
The Captain following him to clubhouse…never see Jeter do that
Wilmer Flores is the best ⚾❤️⚾
I just thought he was crying because the score said "Padres 7 – Mets 2". deGrom is os overrated.
When he was playing and I saw him crying I was literally crying too. When I was watching the game with my dad during this time and Terry Collins talk to him that you’re not getting traded deal didn’t go through. I’m staying with us as a Mets Because Flores Wanted to be a Mets When he started, he wanted to stay with us He didn’t wanna leave
met this man at a lounge. he was extremely humble; just like dude at a local bar. I do pray he does will wherever he goes. god bless i will root you all the way!
Nothing wrong with crying.
It wasn’t in response to the ovation, he didn’t know at the time. He found out after he batted.
He can act like a man
Big ruth would have gave him a forearm this is no battlefield. You're playing in a sportsfield getting overpaid
