Does he have the record for walk-offs for the Mets?
i find 2:07 so strange, duda is sort of slow to react then freaks out after a sligh pause when he see d'arnaud. Nothing abnormal just kinda weird
I remember watching the game on tv when he hit the walk off homer versus the Nationals. At the time, I think I read somewhere someone thought that was the best “IT’S OUTTA HERE!” calls that Gary Cohen ever did. Of course now that’s probably outdone by the Bartolo Colon home run!
Was at 4 of these games. Love Wilmer.
Goodbye Wilmer!
Thank you Wilmer for all that you’ve done
Who else is here watching this wistfully now that Wilmer has been non-tendered?
Bye bye Wilmer bye bye heart…
watching this after he was non-tendered makes me sad
[Yogi]And all of them at home to boot![/Yogi]
I'll miss you Wilmer
Most walk-offs by any active player over the course of his career.
A play at the plate is not a walk off. A walk off means the batter could have walk if he wanted or that no fielding play is necessary; has to be a balk, walk or hit batsmen with bases loaded or a home run. That's it. Anything else is a game-winning hit. Ironically the phrase came from the rule change when the Mets Robin Ventura could not be credited with a home run in the playoffs because he couldn't get the the plate because of celebrations. They changed the rule saying it will now be a home run anyway it is "walked off" automatically.
Simply Thank You Signed All True Mets Fans
I am going to miss u Wilmer Flores u will always be remembered as Met
YOU'RE A MET FOREVER WILMER! WE LOVE YOU!
4:14 one of Ron darlings best calls, so genuine, can feel his love for this team
Hope he does well for the dbacks love this guy
Why he not get signed back 😭
I miss this man as a Met, and Gary Cohen delivers the best in Mets as always!!!
11 people have the loser gene in them
I miss you, Wilmer…
I was at the game at 5:15 they were losing 5-0 and they came back and won
Wilmer top 3 met my fav great cry when left going nuts when homered vs mets yesterday. Wilmer i love u, my best friend
Why isnt .net paid 30 mill to hit walk offs!
Im crying right now
Number 4 always remembered
Wilmer Flores has got to be the most popular utility player ever. And he deserved to be. I was sad to see him go.
Why did we let him go
Welcome to SF, Wilmer! On a good team he’s a solid utility infielder.
On the 2020 Giants, he’ll hit cleanup.
Why would they get rid of this guy?
Funny that the first one is a popup that barely leaves the infield. Only scored the winning run on a HORRIBLE throw.
Glad this included the dates. The second one where they won despite blowing a Jacob deGrom 8 inning scoreless outing could have been pretty much ANY game.
Every time I see the highlights of that Nats series in 2015… Niagara Falls haha. Such joy, there is little to compare.
I miss him, and I want him back with us.
mets legend
Wouldn't it be awesome to add Murphy and Flores back to our roster?
I was so angry when they DFA’d Flores over D’NO.
That walk-off against the Nats when he was supposed to be traded damn near puts me in tears every single time.
WIIIIILLLLLLMMMMAAAAAAAAA
Always remember July 31, 2015. A turning point for the Mets at that time!
Came here after I hit walk off homer with him in MLB the show 21
My God I miss these days. Wilmer has maybe the biggest heart of any player out there. What’s beautiful about the Nationals vs Mets walk off homer is that it was just a couple of days after he thought he was going to be traded. Love you, Wilmer!
