The comeback game against the D-Backs in Sept was a memorable and fun game to watch.
Chourio of course offers much hope. Contreras certainly offers multi faceted talent, is very valuable in bringing out the best in our pitching staff… Love all the young talent and Yelli too, I think Sal Frelick will surprise many of us with a breakout season, .300 BA and much higher RBI total… Can't wait to see if Ashby is the real deal or not, personally I think he has more potential than DL Hall.
I think my favorite Brewer's thing that happened this year and give me hope for next year is the home run that was hit in the bottom of the 8th in the 3rd wild card game. Looking back to it, it was so awesome to see and my hope is we can build on that momentum in 2025. I would love to know your thoughts on the new TV deal?
How about Mr. Turang at 2nd base?? Pretty darn good.
All the young guys have a year under there belt. Everyone should improve some. Better average and a few more homers. Ortiz may hit 15 to 20 . With Durbin and dunn. May get 15 to 20 ftom the corner .
Jackson Chourio will be a 30/30 player next year, and with a healthy Yelich and Hoskins, I think they can pick up the slack left by the loss of Adames. Ortiz, Frelick, Turang, and Mitchell can only get better. The big question is 3B. Will they be content with a Durban/Dunn platoon ? Or will they acquire a veteran for that spot until someone else emerges ? Contreras is steady and dependable. I think Haase can hit, but his throwing out runners is lacking. It was wise to sign him to a one year deal until Quero proves his shoulder is sound. They may be standing pat in anticipation of Jesus Made getting fast tracked to the Bigs like Chourio. A lot of questions. But also a lot of possibilities !
Sal Froelick is an igniting lead off hitter. Reminds me of outfielder Brett Butler. Former Dodgers Braves outfielder
