It has a colourful history befitting its age and started service as an experimental solar sail spacecraft before it saw service as a transport vessel, an exploratory vessel and later on as an armed merchant vessel and a camouflaged cruiser during the War of Independence, being one of the Original Seven pirate ships that received a Letter of Marque from the Colony Federation. After the war, all of its weapons and the add-on FTL drive were removed, however leaving all of the program files for them remained locked and hidden in its mainframe.
