It follows a group of former members of Public Security Section 9 turned cyborg mercenaries called &#8216;GHOST&#8217; as they try to protect the world against rising cyber threats.<\/p>\n<p>With the emergence of Post Humans bringing even more threats to the already chaotic cyberpunk world, the GHOST members were forced to reunite under Section 9.<\/p>\n<p>Towards the end of season one, Togusa stumbles upon a program that can awaken old memories while studying Takashi&#8217;s code. Togusa and Batou went to an old village in Kyoto, where Takashi briefly stayed with his uncle, hoping to find more clues about the Posthuman Think Pol developer.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arriving in the village, Togusa begins seeing some of Takashi&#8217;s memories. At the end of the memories, Takashi offers Togusa a spot in the truck. Batou then lost sight of Togusa.<\/p>\n<p>Did Togusa decide to join Takashi?
