{"id":560041,"date":"2022-03-16T15:37:56","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T15:37:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/anime\/560041\/"},"modified":"2022-03-16T15:37:56","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T15:37:56","slug":"nasas-webb-reaches-alignment-milestone-optics-working-successfully","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/anime\/560041\/","title":{"rendered":"NASA\u2019s Webb Reaches Alignment Milestone, Optics Working Successfully"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  width=\"580\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MiGx8xv6xjE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<br \/>\nFollowing the completion of critical mirror alignment steps, the James Webb Space Telescope team has great confidence that the observatory\u2019s optical performance will meet or exceed the science goals it was built to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>On March 11, the Webb team completed the stage of alignment known as \u201cfine phasing\u201d \u2013 and at this key stage in the commissioning of Webb\u2019s Optical Telescope Element, every optical parameter that has been checked and tested is performing at, or above, expectations. The team found no critical issues and no measurable contamination or blockages to Webb\u2019s optical path.
