Now for those who happen to have a curious mind like mine, the anime is: Amon: The Apocalypse of Devilman. A 2000 anime OVA. To explain what happens prior to this scene: “Satan”\/Ryo Asuka shows footage of Akira who appears human, going Devilman and feeding on demons and killing them. All shown on TV. Anyhow, I feel like I’ve known about this anime for a long time and hadn’t watched it, so I changed that today. I would honestly not have much to say about it, since most of the time, it was nothing but gore. There were a few warm scenes in it, which I’m grateful for [I did get a bit teary eyed towards the end.] A bit of a plot too..? You don’t necessarily get to know the characters all that much, as they die rather quickly in the OVA [The same can be said for this very scene.] Despite that being so, this still got me. I’ve seen some say that Devilman Crybaby is a lot better, so that’s good to know.<\/p>\n
You’d think that after watching both Higurashi and Elfen Lied, along with other titles [Like Corpse Party: Tortured Souls] that I’d be used to this, but nope. I clearly, haven’t truly seen it all.
\nSo to give my thoughts about this whole thing, I’d say… it was decent overall. Perhaps not the best ever, but it wasn’t the worst either.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Goddamn my curiosity, I swear!
