Though they have had a diverse array of protagonists and story arcs, it seems that within the last 15 years, the same story has been reiterated to death only to be received with widespread success every single time. But what is this universal story anyway? Well, here goes. An economically, socially, or intellectually challenged teenager discovers or develops a set of powers largely inaccessible to the general public. This in turn allows them to join a society full of other gifted individuals only to be told that their version of their powers is uniquely significant all whilst trying to live a normal life. Sound familiar?<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWhat do Chainsaw Man, Tokyo Ghoul, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Gachiakuta have in common? EVEVRYTHING.<br \/>\nIt seems that Shonen and Seinen (particularly Shonen) have gravitated towards the exact same template for their action properties.
