dissection of all the Smallville characters\u00a0\u00a0 and now we&#8217;re back for Final Destination 3 as\u00a0<br \/>\nalways we check in to see how we are feeling let&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 start off with the real roomie how you doing Aaron\u00a0<br \/>\noh boy i&#8217;m doing good but I want to take this time\u00a0\u00a0 to less so talk about how I&#8217;m feeling but more\u00a0<br \/>\nso to address the fans thank you guys so much for\u00a0\u00a0 uh the love support and care you guys have been\u00a0<br \/>\nputting in the comments of the Final Destination\u00a0\u00a0 one reaction and the DMs I&#8217;ve been getting uh\u00a0<br \/>\nI appreciate you guys on uh there&#8217;s a strange\u00a0\u00a0 choice made editing wise and you know that\u00a0<br \/>\nhas been addressed internally i have had some\u00a0\u00a0 some talks with with Greg and then it was long\u00a0<br \/>\nstory short it was a mistake uh and it has been\u00a0\u00a0 rectified and I want to just say thank you guys\u00a0<br \/>\nfor caring and looking out for me i appreciate\u00a0\u00a0 you guys and yeah we will do better in the future\u00a0<br \/>\nbut yeah overall doing great johnny how you doing\u00a0\u00a0 i&#8217;m doing okay i feel like these videos uh are the\u00a0<br \/>\nones where I&#8217;m most slap happy just a very fun way\u00a0\u00a0 to experience these movies and it&#8217;s fun to be on\u00a0<br \/>\nthis ride with the two of you i&#8217;ve been looking\u00a0\u00a0 forward to this franchise for a very long time\u00a0<br \/>\ni&#8217;m looking forward to a whatever roller coaster\u00a0\u00a0 ride we&#8217;re about to get into with this movie but\u00a0<br \/>\nalso I&#8217;m looking forward to the eventual road to\u00a0\u00a0 the new one because that&#8217;s in the zeitgeist right\u00a0<br \/>\nnow so I feel like we&#8217;re we&#8217;re a part of something\u00a0\u00a0 uh so yeah I&#8217;m I&#8217;m excited to wake up and get\u00a0<br \/>\nzapped with death and crazy traps and stuff andrew\u00a0\u00a0 how do you feel i&#8217;m great this is my second third\u00a0<br \/>\nfilm of the series today so I&#8217;m doing great i&#8217;m\u00a0\u00a0 sure you guys will figure out which one i&#8217;m also\u00a0<br \/>\nnervous cuz I feel like that mouse is going to\u00a0\u00a0 fall off and do some Final Destination crap it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\ngoing to ricochet off i I echo your sentiments\u00a0\u00a0 Jonald like this franchise has so far been a\u00a0<br \/>\nlot of fun i heard it keeps getting wilder and\u00a0\u00a0 crazier so yeah I&#8217;m I&#8217;m excited to continuously\u00a0<br \/>\nkeep going into this franchise and see how much\u00a0\u00a0 more bonkers it gets but with that being said full\u00a0<br \/>\nlength reaction where you sync up with your own\u00a0\u00a0 copy we are watching this on Max soon to be i was\u00a0<br \/>\njust told HBO Max is back wow i never would have\u00a0\u00a0 guessed that would have happened when they first\u00a0<br \/>\nmade the announcement but anyways that&#8217;s a joke\u00a0\u00a0 by the way HBO Max is coming back but yeah make\u00a0<br \/>\nsure you have your own subscription make sure you\u00a0\u00a0 have your own subscription and I will give you a\u00a0<br \/>\n3 2 1 countdown and it&#8217;ll be like we&#8217;re watching\u00a0\u00a0 some crazy scares together it&#8217;ll be great want the premonition song to be\u00a0\u00a0 roller coaster mary Elizabeth Winstead wow ryan\u00a0<br \/>\nMarman oh I was going to say Smallville he was in\u00a0\u00a0 one episode season 3 episode was \/>\nI love this photography on the credits and I\u00a0\u00a0 love that it&#8217;s a a deserted carnival and it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nlike Shirley Walker is back like really quiet\u00a0\u00a0 yeah oh that&#8217;s a very CGI ball whoa this is a\u00a0<br \/>\ndefinitely a different flavor from the first\u00a0\u00a0 two i dig it i really do i really like the\u00a0<br \/>\natmosphere of this yeah we are definitely\u00a0\u00a0 in the mid 2000s feel like I&#8217;m heading into a\u00a0<br \/>\nGoosebumps episode it totally does feel that\u00a0\u00a0 way we&#8217;re going to see the dummy any minute now\u00a0<br \/>\nthe zipper roller as a kid and what was what was\u00a0\u00a0 it called house on Haunted Hill where the roller\u00a0<br \/>\ncoaster went off the damn tracks remember from\u00a0\u00a0 control that&#8217;s part of it it&#8217;s true they\u00a0<br \/>\nget scared but it never turns out to be what they\u00a0\u00a0 imagine never sometimes it&#8217;s worse you know we\u00a0<br \/>\nnever mentioned she was in one of our favorite\u00a0\u00a0 movies Sky High as Royal Pain scott Pilgrim i I\u00a0<br \/>\ngot to rewatch that one look like you&#8217;re holding\u00a0\u00a0 the been stuck on you know like everyone gets stuck on\u00a0<br \/>\nthe Haunted Mansion at some point at Disneyland or\u00a0\u00a0 something yeah I was going to say if I have it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nprobably been on a comm ride but I will say this\u00a0\u00a0 i remember there&#8217;s a ride at Magic Mountain in\u00a0<br \/>\nValencia called Ninja i waited an hour to get\u00a0\u00a0 on that ride and the ride broke down i [\u00a0__\u00a0]\u00a0<br \/>\nyou not right when I was like about to get on\u00a0\u00a0 I was like &#8220;Thank God that didn&#8217;t happen when\u00a0<br \/>\nI was on.&#8221; Death intervene right at the at the\u00a0\u00a0 right time but no one obviously passed away but\u00a0<br \/>\nseriously I was like so happy and lucky because\u00a0\u00a0 I heard that the people were stuck for a few\u00a0<br \/>\nhours on that i was like I felt bad for them\u00a0\u00a0 but I was like I was literally about to get on\u00a0<br \/>\nthe ride too when it and broke down a minute\u00a0\u00a0 later crazy you got saved that day seriously uh\u00a0<br \/>\nTiffany wants to know shouts out Tiffany shout out\u00a0\u00a0 to you will you ever ride a roller coaster again\u00a0<br \/>\nabsolutely absolutely eventually eventually is a\u00a0\u00a0 good answer not anytime soon but yes for sure\u00a0<br \/>\ni love roller coasters so much magic Mountain\u00a0\u00a0 Disneyland definitely i think you also do living\u00a0<br \/>\na roller coaster i do enjoy a roller coaster so\u00a0\u00a0 pro probably but I definitely got to think about\u00a0<br \/>\nthis in my older age I&#8217;ll think twice in my in\u00a0\u00a0 my older age my back doesn&#8217;t like roller coasters\u00a0<br \/>\nbut I will also I will say this before I get on a\u00a0\u00a0 roller coaster I will ask the people on the roller\u00a0<br \/>\ncoaster if I have a premonition of some kind and I\u00a0\u00a0 ask to get off the ride will you guys be willing\u00a0<br \/>\nto let me off the ride or do I have to stay on\u00a0\u00a0 they&#8217;re just gonna shoot you on the spot to skip\u00a0<br \/>\nahead yes skip ahead i&#8217;m going to ask I will this\u00a0\u00a0 movie has made me aware to ask that question\u00a0<br \/>\nbecause I felt like that that&#8217;s just you you&#8217;re\u00a0\u00a0 allowed to get off if you ask you think so you\u00a0<br \/>\nshould well you know sign a waiver maybe boyfriend\u00a0\u00a0 top wasn&#8217;t so lucky i was not they didn&#8217;t care all\u00a0<br \/>\nright and then finally from Patreon we got Jessica appreciate you out of all three movies so far\u00a0<br \/>\nwhich death was the one that sticks out as the\u00a0\u00a0 most surprising or terrifying for each of you\u00a0<br \/>\npersonally and is it based on a fear you have\u00a0\u00a0 had or just from the movie for instance a lot of\u00a0<br \/>\npeople say they&#8217;ll never drive behind a log truck\u00a0\u00a0 on an interstate after these movies personally\u00a0<br \/>\nI would never have to begin with the movie only\u00a0\u00a0 confirmed my fears about it if we&#8217;re not going\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s a great question and if we&#8217;re not going on\u00a0\u00a0 the premonition I would go with premonition number\u00a0<br \/>\ntwo but if we&#8217;re not going on premonition I&#8217;ll\u00a0\u00a0 go with the eye one in the second movie that\u00a0<br \/>\nwas that was gnarly and I&#8217;ve never like I&#8217;ve\u00a0\u00a0 never won i mean I don&#8217;t want to go out anyway\u00a0<br \/>\nbut through the eye no thank you there&#8217;s a lot\u00a0\u00a0 of them yeah there&#8217;s so many good ones that one\u00a0<br \/>\njust that one just stuck out to me first no pun\u00a0\u00a0 intended terrifying i feel like the the one with\u00a0<br \/>\nMrs um Luton Miss Luton the first movie where she\u00a0\u00a0 burns or no she gets cut in the neck first right\u00a0<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s just a whole lot of stuff happening and\u00a0\u00a0 that one felt I remember especially like mean\u00a0<br \/>\nand sad and it was like this poor woman alone\u00a0\u00a0 in her house just like trapped and just like\u00a0<br \/>\neverything&#8217;s going wrong and no one can get to\u00a0\u00a0 you no one can hear you and then all the [\u00a0__\u00a0]\u00a0<br \/>\nburns down uh so in a way like that that one is\u00a0\u00a0 like particularly chilling just because of a the\u00a0<br \/>\nemotional emotional tonality of the scene um but\u00a0\u00a0 also yeah the the chain reaction of events was\u00a0<br \/>\npretty harsh but um I&#8217;m trying to think i feel\u00a0\u00a0 like there&#8217;s another I mean I was definitely\u00a0<br \/>\nshocked big time by the uh the barbwire fence\u00a0\u00a0 guy that was wild that I was not I did not see\u00a0<br \/>\nthat coming and that definitely like threw me\u00a0\u00a0 for a jolt in a way that I hadn&#8217;t seen coming um\u00a0<br \/>\nuh I think slipping on spaghetti with a ladder to\u00a0\u00a0 the face was pretty pretty rough so the the one I\u00a0<br \/>\nsaid right oh yeah that&#8217;s Yeah that&#8217;s pretty bad\u00a0\u00a0 i mean pretty rough that spaghetti i am I&#8217;m also\u00a0<br \/>\nI&#8217;m I&#8217;m quite surprised that we didn&#8217;t get a Tony\u00a0\u00a0 Todd like onscreen appearance physically here i&#8217;m\u00a0<br \/>\nsurprised by that and it wasn&#8217;t just that he got\u00a0\u00a0 slipping in the shower was also bad oh when he Oh\u00a0<br \/>\nwhen he was stuck with the neck yeah and it wasn&#8217;t\u00a0\u00a0 just that he got the eye uh the thing through the\u00a0<br \/>\neye obviously he was already dead at this point\u00a0\u00a0 but Todd just ripped the the thing through out of\u00a0<br \/>\nhis nipple that totally Oh my goodness gracious\u00a0\u00a0 that was insane and awesome at the same time\u00a0<br \/>\nyeah it was definitely it I was saddening that we\u00a0\u00a0 didn&#8217;t I mean I was glad we got his voice at least\u00a0<br \/>\nin this one it was sad not to see the character in\u00a0\u00a0 the movie but still glad we got the voice that\u00a0<br \/>\nor just exploding grill i think the pervert dude\u00a0\u00a0 kind of got it off easy cuz he died without even\u00a0<br \/>\nrealizing he died yeah cuz we just saw his middle\u00a0\u00a0 finger come up in the car in front and you just\u00a0<br \/>\nfigured that was just some random you know person\u00a0\u00a0 and then come to find out that that was shocking\u00a0<br \/>\nthough i was not expecting that to be him i like\u00a0\u00a0 that though just making sure I didn&#8217;t list any\u00a0<br \/>\nmiss any sort of potentially juicy deaths but yeah\u00a0\u00a0 yeah I guess that&#8217;s that&#8217;s what I got for right\u00a0<br \/>\nnow i&#8217;m like there yeah I feel like that one&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 the the most memorable one honestly the lag one\u00a0<br \/>\nthe log one&#8217;s the most memorable claire&#8217;s Claire&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 too but I knew once she left that hospital room\u00a0<br \/>\nshe was a goner but she was such a like I was sad\u00a0\u00a0 for CLA yeah it was sad i mean I&#8217;m sad sad I mean\u00a0<br \/>\nnot sad for Ian he was a douchebag but I mean sad\u00a0\u00a0 for most of the people the one Oh the woman who\u00a0<br \/>\nwas going up in the elevator and she got like\u00a0\u00a0 her head and that one was pretty rough fairly\u00a0<br \/>\nrough that&#8217;s pretty scary in terms of like the\u00a0\u00a0 experience of that would be all of awful but that\u00a0<br \/>\none like as imagining yourself in those shoes and\u00a0\u00a0 how drawn out that is of her head sticking out and\u00a0<br \/>\nlike them trying to get her out of there like that\u00a0\u00a0 yeah like that one was pretty harsh in terms of\u00a0<br \/>\njust the vibe and I&#8217;ll say this too for us as an\u00a0\u00a0 audience besides the one being like the subversion\u00a0<br \/>\nof expectations with the hand in the the garbage\u00a0\u00a0 disposal the one with the in the dentist where\u00a0<br \/>\nwe thought something was going to happen that\u00a0\u00a0 was freaking me out and then obviously the glass\u00a0<br \/>\nand then the glass panel smooshed him i like I\u00a0\u00a0 prefer the the glass panel death over Ian&#8217;s death\u00a0<br \/>\nin this one oh yeah yeah it was like a similar\u00a0\u00a0 kind of death the glass panel definitely just\u00a0<br \/>\nthe way that dummy crumbled was like smooshed\u00a0\u00a0 woo very striking very striking unforgettable\u00a0<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s definitely been some memorable ones so\u00a0\u00a0 for sure that but that that premonition though was\u00a0<br \/>\nI mean all three premonitions have been And just\u00a0\u00a0 really quick before we get into our thoughts did\u00a0<br \/>\nyou guys have any particular premonition of the\u00a0\u00a0 three i don&#8217;t know if you&#8217;re going to I guess you\u00a0<br \/>\ncount the subway one too but was there one that\u00a0\u00a0 stuck out to you for me it&#8217;s still two two was\u00a0<br \/>\nstrong i feel like one was still very shocking\u00a0\u00a0 but the log into the face was unforgettable you\u00a0<br \/>\nmean which movie has the most shocking like set\u00a0\u00a0 pieces like the opening right yeah the opening\u00a0<br \/>\nthe opening premonition that one just stuck with\u00a0\u00a0 me the most i I loved them all they&#8217;re all great\u00a0<br \/>\nbut that one stuck with me the most cuz like one\u00a0\u00a0 is the most I mean the one and two is the most\u00a0<br \/>\nmundane and seems like the most plausible to\u00a0\u00a0 just happen on a dayto-day the other two you have\u00a0<br \/>\nto go specifically yeah the other is you have to\u00a0\u00a0 pay admission to to die essentially pay for a\u00a0<br \/>\nticket rather i feel like the roller coaster is\u00a0\u00a0 still pretty well grounded because it&#8217;s just a\u00a0<br \/>\nthing that it&#8217;s still a commonplace thing it&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 still really smart because like every most people\u00a0<br \/>\ngo on the freeway part two most people have been\u00a0\u00a0 on a plane part one and then most people have\u00a0<br \/>\ngone on a roller coaster i think they&#8217;re all\u00a0\u00a0 pretty grounded but yeah I think some people have\u00a0<br \/>\nnever been in planes though i feel like the like\u00a0\u00a0 the one that&#8217;s the most common would probably be\u00a0<br \/>\njust being in a car because that&#8217;s part of most\u00a0\u00a0 places in America&#8217;s daytoday is riding in cars\u00a0<br \/>\nyeah i feel like of of the openings I mean the\u00a0\u00a0 first movie definitely pulled me in and I think\u00a0<br \/>\nit as like a it&#8217;s weird because they both have\u00a0\u00a0 both this one maybe less in a way than the other\u00a0<br \/>\nmaybe just because I&#8217;m used to it now the first\u00a0\u00a0 two struck me as this weird balance of Yeah like\u00a0<br \/>\nyou have like this wacky teen comedy dialogue and\u00a0\u00a0 then all of a sudden a very serious tense wreck\u00a0<br \/>\nsequence and I remember thinking especially for\u00a0\u00a0 the time that like the plane crash was really\u00a0<br \/>\nintense and really well done um I think the\u00a0\u00a0 second movie opening does successfully up the\u00a0<br \/>\nante in a way that lures you in like it has I\u00a0\u00a0 feel like everything in part three is a little\u00a0<br \/>\nfaster and a little more compact and I feel like\u00a0\u00a0 the first movie obviously is setting the tone for\u00a0<br \/>\nthe whole thing and the second one that prologue\u00a0\u00a0 felt like okay we&#8217;re doing bigger and better\u00a0<br \/>\nas we do in sequels and I remember thinking\u00a0\u00a0 like man the way we&#8217;re like jumping around to\u00a0<br \/>\nthese different cars and kind of establishing\u00a0\u00a0 you know these people who seem unlikely to be\u00a0<br \/>\ntogether was also a fun dynamic and then once\u00a0\u00a0 the chain reaction of the log hogs falling and\u00a0<br \/>\neverything else like like that one really felt\u00a0\u00a0 I think like okay freak accident that&#8217;s in a place\u00a0<br \/>\nwe all go to but also like the chain reaction the\u00a0\u00a0 Rub Goldberg quality was probably the most kicking\u00a0<br \/>\nthere I think I think uh probably two for me yeah\u00a0\u00a0 I&#8217;d probably agree with you should we check yes\u00a0<br \/>\nI&#8217;m sorry yeah because two again two is the most\u00a0\u00a0 plausible because we all ride on the freeway\u00a0<br \/>\nespecially here in LA seriously we like live\u00a0\u00a0 on the freeway way i was going to say should we uh\u00a0<br \/>\nwe&#8217;ve gone to a lot of discussion but let&#8217;s check\u00a0\u00a0 in on our feelings how are we feeling Donald i\u00a0<br \/>\nfeel I feel great i feel grateful to be alive this\u00a0\u00a0 was really fun i had a fun time with this movie\u00a0<br \/>\ni I look forward to these because uh they give\u00a0\u00a0 uh in a similar way to like the fun of a Saw\u00a0<br \/>\nmovie you know so they give you that sort of\u00a0\u00a0 squirmy kind of fun except these movies obviously\u00a0<br \/>\nare a little lighter in tone than a Saw movie even\u00a0\u00a0 though Saw movies can be fun uh you know these\u00a0<br \/>\nare these teen again they have this like teen\u00a0\u00a0 ranch element meets yeah like crazy death trap\u00a0<br \/>\nuh motif and uh I liked I don&#8217;t know like I feel\u00a0\u00a0 like these have been pretty consistent with each\u00a0<br \/>\nother thus far i think it&#8217;s you know probably not\u00a0\u00a0 too hard to come up with what a ranking would\u00a0<br \/>\nbe for any individual viewer but like this one\u00a0\u00a0 uh continued the fun that I&#8217;ve been expecting out\u00a0<br \/>\nof this franchise you know it was a blast uh just\u00a0\u00a0 to see what they could come up with and I do like\u00a0<br \/>\nthat this one uh each of these has had a different\u00a0\u00a0 pitch and flavor of drama i hesitate to to to say\u00a0<br \/>\num cuz the first movie certainly kind of I think\u00a0\u00a0 the most comprehensively hones into the survivors\u00a0<br \/>\nguilt the shared trauma that will later become\u00a0\u00a0 a theme it&#8217;s in all these movies but the first\u00a0<br \/>\none felt like once the accident happened there\u00a0\u00a0 was a real tangible and unified feeling Paul that\u00a0<br \/>\nwas cast over everything uh the second movie has\u00a0\u00a0 a bit more wild and wacky of a tone after the\u00a0<br \/>\nprologue like in the first movie there&#8217;s still\u00a0\u00a0 the teen ranch elements after the prologue but\u00a0<br \/>\nI felt like the movie kind of coalesed after the\u00a0\u00a0 prologue in a nice way the second movie is like a\u00a0<br \/>\ntonal roller coaster in a very fun way um and then\u00a0\u00a0 this one you know I I say would I would assert\u00a0<br \/>\nis like yeah the most streamlined it still has\u00a0\u00a0 like a lot of the core tenets of the franchise\u00a0<br \/>\nthat you&#8217;ve come to expect and I did think that\u00a0\u00a0 this one partly because Mary Elizabeth Winstead\u00a0<br \/>\nis such a committed and talented actor that she\u00a0\u00a0 can sell almost anything um you know I had no idea\u00a0<br \/>\nshe was the lead of this movie and I thought she\u00a0\u00a0 did a terrific job and I thought that this one\u00a0<br \/>\nin some ways like I really liked her and not her\u00a0\u00a0 boyfriend i liked the two of them ryan Marman\u00a0<br \/>\nyeah Ryan Marman of Smallville fame i I liked\u00a0\u00a0 the two of them together and I liked the um way\u00a0<br \/>\nthat they grounded the movie and I liked their um\u00a0\u00a0 expression of yeah the guilt and the anguish and\u00a0<br \/>\nthe sort of bargaining with the situation and the\u00a0\u00a0 you know the whole thing about like should we even\u00a0<br \/>\nattempt to figure out how we&#8217;re going to go should\u00a0\u00a0 we even try to outsmart this thing do I even want\u00a0<br \/>\nto look at the pictures um and I thought the the\u00a0\u00a0 picture motif was pretty nice um you know not\u00a0<br \/>\nnecessarily expounding heavily on the mythology\u00a0\u00a0 but I don&#8217;t think you necessarily always have to\u00a0<br \/>\nlike the second one also had that kind of thrill\u00a0\u00a0 of like and now we&#8217;re trying to figure out if we\u00a0<br \/>\ncan usurp the order like what happens if we force\u00a0\u00a0 a baby who was supposed to die to be born you know\u00a0<br \/>\num but yeah I mean this this was still I think had\u00a0\u00a0 all the kicks and thrills that you want out of one\u00a0<br \/>\nof these movies it had a lot of fun squirmy deaths\u00a0\u00a0 um maybe a little less drawn out than the previous\u00a0<br \/>\nones um which doesn&#8217;t like hurt it in some ways\u00a0\u00a0 i&#8217;m like you could have drawn some of these\u00a0<br \/>\nout even further for me but still there was\u00a0\u00a0 a lot of memorable kills and stuff before I go\u00a0<br \/>\nto Well very well said before I go to Aaron just\u00a0\u00a0 cuz it just literally just popped up i because\u00a0<br \/>\nof her hair I did not even recognize Mary uh\u00a0\u00a0 was it Mary Elizabeth is that supposed to be her\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s her in the front lap she didn&#8217;t she didn&#8217;t\u00a0\u00a0 ride in the front in the movie no well and also\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s it&#8217;s to show her fear that she didn&#8217;t want\u00a0\u00a0 to be in the front she got a front row seat for\u00a0<br \/>\ndeath and that&#8217;s him i didn&#8217;t recognize him with\u00a0\u00a0 his hair like that either yeah that&#8217;s that&#8217;s a\u00a0<br \/>\ngreat poster shot and oh and you see Freddy in\u00a0\u00a0 the Freddy&#8217;s hat anyways Aaron Real Roomie how\u00a0<br \/>\nare you feeling buddy um I&#8217;m feeling as good as\u00a0\u00a0 you can watching one of these but overall you know\u00a0<br \/>\nthis movie is still fun i especially have a blast\u00a0\u00a0 watching them with you too um yeah I think this\u00a0<br \/>\none still maintains that level of fun and intrigue\u00a0\u00a0 and obviously we&#8217;ve had the first one established\u00a0<br \/>\nwhat these movies are i feel that this one is not\u00a0\u00a0 the strongest out of the three i don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s terrible by any means but I feel like the way\u00a0\u00a0 that the deaths were constructed and the way they\u00a0<br \/>\nplayed with your anxieties and anticipation for\u00a0\u00a0 it to just go a completely different direction\u00a0<br \/>\nthat you weren&#8217;t uh considering was done uh a\u00a0\u00a0 lot stronger in the first in the second movie\u00a0<br \/>\ncuz I feel like they played with that in the\u00a0\u00a0 first movie and then they realized in the second\u00a0<br \/>\nmovie oh this really works let&#8217;s do more of that\u00a0\u00a0 and though they did try to do that with some of\u00a0<br \/>\nthe deaths here I felt like it was just the way\u00a0\u00a0 that it was executed didn&#8217;t hit as hard wasn&#8217;t\u00a0<br \/>\nas punchy uh within this one that said I felt\u00a0\u00a0 like Mary Elizabeth withstead was a a great lead\u00a0<br \/>\ni feel like she brought a level of uh of heart\u00a0\u00a0 and humanity to this character and maybe part of\u00a0<br \/>\nthat is her performance part of that is knowing\u00a0\u00a0 her just beyond this role and like what we&#8217;ve come\u00a0<br \/>\naccustomed to from our from her uh filmography but\u00a0\u00a0 I think you know this being a horror movie I feel\u00a0<br \/>\nlike she rises above you know the standard of what\u00a0\u00a0 we uh are accustomed to for for these films\u00a0<br \/>\nbut yeah but some of the deaths in this one\u00a0\u00a0 uh even kind of made me laugh which Yeah it was so\u00a0<br \/>\nfunny these films are self-aware it it was funny\u00a0\u00a0 seeing the the difference in reaction to the the\u00a0<br \/>\nfootball player dying cuz like it just smashed his\u00a0\u00a0 head and I thought that was hilarious and you guys\u00a0<br \/>\nwere both horrified um cuz I just it was just kind\u00a0\u00a0 of comical to me it just like felt like something\u00a0<br \/>\nout of a cartoon but I mean it is a lull like the\u00a0\u00a0 timing is is kind of hilarious like the timing\u00a0<br \/>\nwas hilarious it reminds me of that cut there&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 a cut in the director&#8217;s cut of Mid Samar where you\u00a0<br \/>\ncut from like a a plate of food or something like\u00a0\u00a0 literally to a face being smashed with a hammer\u00a0<br \/>\nand it&#8217;s like it&#8217;s shocking and it is graphic\u00a0\u00a0 but also it&#8217;s like hilarious and after the whole\u00a0<br \/>\nfake out with the swords you&#8217;re like thump you\u00a0\u00a0 know like it&#8217;s it is like it is silly they did\u00a0<br \/>\nthat on purpose uh but yeah I&#8217;m still having a\u00a0\u00a0 a blast with these movies even if this wasn&#8217;t my\u00a0<br \/>\nfavorite one but I think that um yeah it&#8217;s just\u00a0\u00a0 I&#8217;m still engaged i&#8217;m still excited to see what\u00a0<br \/>\nthe rest have to offer i think I was just missing\u00a0\u00a0 again some of that plot uh connectivity between\u00a0<br \/>\nthe first and second one cuz this one&#8217;s wholly\u00a0\u00a0 separated except for referencing those events but\u00a0<br \/>\nalso the intrigue and the the development and the\u00a0\u00a0 furthering of the mythology that&#8217;s a great point\u00a0<br \/>\nthat the first two had uh kind of built upon this\u00a0\u00a0 one just kind of like a standalone thing but yeah\u00a0<br \/>\noverall it was fun um and I look forward to seeing\u00a0\u00a0 more interesting ways people can be taken out yes\u00a0<br \/>\nby uh the petty [\u00a0__\u00a0] that is death oh she&#8217;s on\u00a0\u00a0 Amanda Crew is on Silicon Valley oh there you go\u00a0<br \/>\n54 you discovered it no wonder i&#8217;m happy i know\u00a0\u00a0 i&#8217;ve seen your face a bunch but yeah I was kind of\u00a0<br \/>\nexpecting like not that they have to and not that\u00a0\u00a0 there&#8217;s a million things you could do but but the\u00a0<br \/>\nsecond one seemed intent on being like we&#8217;re going\u00a0\u00a0 to expand the lore of how this all works and this\u00a0<br \/>\none has some interesting takes on how to interpret\u00a0\u00a0 Death&#8217;s Plan but it&#8217;s not as much of a sort of\u00a0<br \/>\nlike ooh here&#8217;s a new expansion on the lore or\u00a0\u00a0 anything like that definitely yeah i I will say\u00a0<br \/>\nlike I I still really enjoyed specifically these\u00a0\u00a0 two characters i thought their chemistry was great\u00a0<br \/>\ni really enjoyed their interactions mary Elizabeth\u00a0\u00a0 Winstead that one scene where she was uh you\u00a0<br \/>\nknow really pouring her heart out to her sister\u00a0\u00a0 with the the bracelet she I mean she killed it in\u00a0<br \/>\nall her scenes but specifically that scene again\u00a0\u00a0 really stood out to me and I really was connected\u00a0<br \/>\nto her and her performance and I thought that was\u00a0\u00a0 the again the heart of the film was her and again\u00a0<br \/>\nand Ryan Marman i was just I was really connected\u00a0\u00a0 to them i thought that was besides the elaborate\u00a0<br \/>\ndeaths which is obviously what we and the you\u00a0\u00a0 know how inventive they can be like and and the\u00a0<br \/>\nsuspense like that&#8217;s obviously what we for a big\u00a0\u00a0 part of why we come to watch these movies but it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nthe characters for me like in a horror film I want\u00a0\u00a0 to be able to care about the about the characters\u00a0<br \/>\nand I can honestly say for those two I for sure\u00a0\u00a0 really cared about them and didn&#8217;t want anything\u00a0<br \/>\nto happen so I I think from that perspective the\u00a0\u00a0 film definitely succeeded i completely agree\u00a0<br \/>\nwith what you were both saying in regards to\u00a0\u00a0 I love that the second film again with building\u00a0<br \/>\noff you know the world build the lore of the world\u00a0\u00a0 building of the first film i love the way they\u00a0<br \/>\nconnected it there i&#8217;m not saying you always have\u00a0\u00a0 to do that but in regards to the plot I thought\u00a0<br \/>\nthat was one of the strong choices i really do\u00a0\u00a0 love how James Wong when he came back and he is\u00a0<br \/>\nthe writer he was the writer and director of the\u00a0\u00a0 first film and he made it a personal choice to say\u00a0<br \/>\nonly only go over the events of the first film and\u00a0\u00a0 never talk about the events of the second film\u00a0<br \/>\nthey reference it oh did they yeah they reference\u00a0\u00a0 the log thing they referenced one more okay okay i\u00a0<br \/>\nthought I I must have missed it okay cuz I thought\u00a0\u00a0 that was a personal choice he made so I would\u00a0<br \/>\nthought that was funny it&#8217;s like just remember\u00a0\u00a0 the film I directed i&#8217;m I must have totally missed\u00a0<br \/>\nit i was probably just too busy with Smallville\u00a0\u00a0 references so a news article kind of thing oh\u00a0<br \/>\nwas it but did they actually say it out loud\u00a0\u00a0 or No I I know that they showed a vis a visual\u00a0<br \/>\nrepresentation of it but I don&#8217;t remember if\u00a0\u00a0 they said it okay because I was probably just uh\u00a0<br \/>\nlistening for it more lip service paid to Flight\u00a0\u00a0 180 yeah yeah exactly that&#8217;s what I was probably\u00a0<br \/>\nlike looking for and I I was just I thought that\u00a0\u00a0 was a funny choice but which is it&#8217;s fine i\u00a0<br \/>\nwould have accepted it but being the director\u00a0\u00a0 of the first film but yeah again um I don&#8217;t know\u00a0<br \/>\nthere were there were definitely times where I\u00a0\u00a0 thought the film built up the suspense as good as\u00a0<br \/>\nthe first two but I I don&#8217;t know if it was like\u00a0\u00a0 you said Aaron I don&#8217;t know if it was as strong\u00a0<br \/>\nas those films for sure having said all that I\u00a0\u00a0 still had a great time the film was extremely\u00a0<br \/>\nentertaining and I I do love how it played off\u00a0\u00a0 the thing and I assume the other films are going\u00a0<br \/>\nto do it too and I was just my best guess was you\u00a0\u00a0 know the roller coaster song like we got with the\u00a0<br \/>\nJohn uh the John Denver the the flight song and\u00a0\u00a0 then the the highway to hell i love when they\u00a0<br \/>\ndid that theme it&#8217;s It&#8217;s just a fun It&#8217;s a fun\u00a0\u00a0 thing to play off of but they only did it one time\u00a0<br \/>\nwhere I think in the the the John Denver one that\u00a0\u00a0 was played multiple times but Well they chose a\u00a0<br \/>\nThey played Roller Coaster song instead that that\u00a0\u00a0 there&#8217;s someone behind you like whatever that song\u00a0<br \/>\nis that that&#8217;s the song they chose to be the death\u00a0\u00a0 song here yeah i will say too for Ryan Marman&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\ncharacter I&#8217;m glad cuz I mean obviously we know\u00a0\u00a0 like I&#8217;m assuming there could have been a romantic\u00a0<br \/>\nyou know possibility between the two of them but\u00a0\u00a0 I&#8217;m glad they didn&#8217;t choose to go that route you\u00a0<br \/>\nknow especially her being in a vulnerable position\u00a0\u00a0 like I think it just shows like what an upstanding\u00a0<br \/>\nperson he is because also his girlfriend was\u00a0\u00a0 planning to break up with him i was wondering what\u00a0<br \/>\nwas the point of them adding that you mean her\u00a0\u00a0 her saying that she was going to break up with him\u00a0<br \/>\njust some extra subversion just in some extra yeah\u00a0\u00a0 I guess whether that&#8217;s in there or not I&#8217;m I&#8217;m\u00a0<br \/>\nglad like that&#8217;s why I was als I mean not that I\u00a0\u00a0 wouldn&#8217;t have rooted for him if he would have gone\u00a0<br \/>\nafter but I think it just again it shows the type\u00a0\u00a0 of class that he has as as a person like they&#8217;re\u00a0<br \/>\nboth in extremely vulnerable positions they&#8217;re\u00a0\u00a0 dealing with grief like he easily could have\u00a0<br \/>\ndone that and I appreciate that they didn&#8217;t go\u00a0\u00a0 that tropey route so yeah without being writ large\u00a0<br \/>\nabout it I liked their relationship and I do I did\u00a0\u00a0 like that yeah there wasn&#8217;t even like a big hint\u00a0<br \/>\nat like oh are they going to get together it&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 They could have went that way and I&#8217;m glad they\u00a0<br \/>\ndidn&#8217;t they&#8217;re just two people in this situation\u00a0\u00a0 together and the fact that she doesn&#8217;t even tell\u00a0<br \/>\nhim like I think is kind of I appreciate in a\u00a0\u00a0 movie like this when they let a nuance hang well\u00a0<br \/>\nto play devil&#8217;s advocate on that I don&#8217;t feel like\u00a0\u00a0 it would have been him taking advantage of her\u00a0<br \/>\ncuz they both lost somebody you know so it&#8217; be two\u00a0\u00a0 people bonding over grief and the people that they\u00a0<br \/>\nboth lost yeah sure i mean you did have that one\u00a0\u00a0 moment where he grabbed her uh not grabbed her but\u00a0<br \/>\nhe put his hand on her knee it was more of like a\u00a0\u00a0 comforting situation where her other knee had guts\u00a0<br \/>\non it so he was going to Well the thing is like\u00a0\u00a0 with what they give you here they could easily go\u00a0<br \/>\nthat route and it wouldn&#8217;t feel weird because the\u00a0\u00a0 way that the the the way that they&#8217;re written\u00a0<br \/>\nand the way the two performers behave you know\u00a0\u00a0 really sells like a genuine feeling yeah we&#8217;re\u00a0<br \/>\nin this together now thing and and yeah like when\u00a0\u00a0 uh that remark comes around him being like oh you\u00a0<br \/>\nknow oh you actually do care like you know what\u00a0\u00a0 am I to you nothing uh you know like that could\u00a0<br \/>\nhave easily been a fulcrum that could have led to\u00a0\u00a0 a charming like oh you do like each other and uh\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s just as valid that they didn&#8217;t and I think it\u00a0\u00a0 was kind of nice to have a a thing like that that\u00a0<br \/>\ncould easily be both and justifiably so for sure\u00a0\u00a0 and yeah I think what I&#8217;m trying to say is that\u00a0<br \/>\nthere definitely was romantic tension there but\u00a0\u00a0 I appreciate too like that he respected his friend\u00a0<br \/>\nenough to not pursue that and he had dibs in life\u00a0\u00a0 he has dibs so That&#8217;s right but he also hey I I\u00a0<br \/>\nlike that he made his friend even though it was\u00a0\u00a0 only on the roller coaster ride as she alluded\u00a0<br \/>\nto I like that he made his friend a promise that\u00a0\u00a0 he would protect her and you know he stuck by\u00a0<br \/>\nhe stuck by that that principle he had a he had\u00a0\u00a0 a moral compass and I like that about him he&#8217;s a\u00a0<br \/>\ngood guy so do you guys have the Rotten Tomatoes\u00a0\u00a0 up oh oh you already had that did you look it up\u00a0<br \/>\nalready i didn&#8217;t look it up i just added the tab\u00a0\u00a0 to it did you look it up i have not no that&#8217;s\u00a0<br y&#8217;all were too low and too high but that&#8217;s okay\u00a0<br \/>\ncritics 44% 6% i&#8217;m pleasantly okay i&#8217;m pleasantly\u00a0\u00a0 surprised i will happily be wrong i&#8217;m pleasantly\u00a0<br \/>\nsurprised yeah no I prefer to be wrong on that end\u00a0\u00a0 too low i mean for sure and audiences john what\u00a0<br \/>\ndid you say i said you said 75 i said 65 you said\u00a0\u00a0 70 you said 75 you said 5 65 it was like in the\u00a0<br \/>\n80s john flip those numbers and you&#8217;d be correct\u00a0\u00a0 and I said I said 65 so you win that one well makes sense to me i\u00a0<br \/>\nI I feel like this is a very well-liked franchise\u00a0\u00a0 so I&#8217;m kind of surprised it&#8217;s as low as it is yeah\u00a0<br \/>\nI think we guessed number not\u00a0\u00a0 bad okay not bad i can see how this wouldn&#8217;t be\u00a0<br \/>\nas expensive worldwide box office uh it was Oh was\u00a0\u00a0 it a minute before they made the final destination\u00a0<br \/>\nthe next It&#8217;s two years no three years three years\u00a0\u00a0 all right well this must have done well enough\u00a0<br \/>\n$25 million budget what it make like 130 million\u00a0\u00a0 worldwide let me go 120 no go 110 700 million\u00a0<br \/>\nno should have stayed with your first one a 120 118,890,272 you were literally about a million\u00a0<br \/>\nyou were provides\u00a0\u00a0 the voice of the devil above the entrance to the\u00a0<br \/>\nroller coaster he also provides the speaker voice\u00a0\u00a0 saying &#8220;This is the end of the line in the subway\u00a0<br \/>\ntowards the end of the film.&#8221; I knew that was him\u00a0\u00a0 we&#8217;re good we&#8217;re good he&#8217;s here the cast members\u00a0<br \/>\non the roller coaster had to ride it 26 times\u00a0\u00a0 on the same night in order to shoot the film&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nmain premonition scene gosh darn gosh darn the\u00a0\u00a0 ingenuity i mean it was nicely shot it was It was\u00a0<br \/>\nstill get still creative out here and I appreciate\u00a0\u00a0 it the scene taking place in the tanning booth\u00a0<br \/>\nwas a closed set only the camera operator and\u00a0\u00a0 director were present with Sha Shayen Simmons and\u00a0<br \/>\nYan K crystal low and blackout curtains were hung\u00a0\u00a0 to keep the scene private good still weird still\u00a0<br \/>\nweird still a weird wiggly scene there were 17 and\u00a0\u00a0 said boobies out why i guess oh yeah you&#8217;re right\u00a0<br \/>\neveryone looks so much older than what age they&#8217;re\u00a0\u00a0 supposed to be cuz it says &#8220;Oh they&#8217;re almost\u00a0<br \/>\n18.&#8221; Yeah that&#8217;s right oh I retroactively don&#8217;t\u00a0\u00a0 love that i wasn&#8217;t really thinking about it at the\u00a0<br \/>\ntime but also uh Yeah oh this was a fun one yeah i\u00a0\u00a0 had a great time i&#8217;m really enjoying the series a\u00a0<br \/>\nlot i&#8217;m excited to continue bring on more yes yes\u00a0\u00a0 bring them on does Elizabeth Winstead deserve\u00a0<br \/>\na better photo for the front of this uh movie\u00a0\u00a0 let&#8217;s I still think it it fits in with the tone\u00a0<br \/>\nof these films and I didn&#8217;t realize that was her\u00a0\u00a0 look at that for three videos now i had no idea\u00a0<br \/>\nthat was her it&#8217;s a good poster but but somehow\u00a0\u00a0 her face looks like another person yeah it kind\u00a0<br \/>\nof does and the hair kind of does look anyways\u00a0\u00a0 guys what did you think of Final Destination 3\u00a0<br \/>\nlet us know what Destination World okay riley Peterson\u00a0\u00a0 right he&#8217;s at a dog park and uh as he walks\u00a0<br \/>\ninto the dog park we see a thing that says\u00a0\u00a0 uh bones there&#8217;s like an advertisement for bones\u00a0<br \/>\nso maybe that&#8217;s foreshadowing so he walks into the\u00a0\u00a0 dog park and he lets his dog off the leash but uh\u00a0<br \/>\nthe dog he&#8217;s he lets the dog off the leash but the\u00a0\u00a0 dog takes off before he can get the leash off the\u00a0<br \/>\ndog so the dog is just trailing this loose leash\u00a0\u00a0 all across the dog park and what we also realize\u00a0<br \/>\nis that Riley brought a picnic basket for himself\u00a0\u00a0 and when the dog yanks the leash off the picnic\u00a0<br \/>\nbasket like you know gets all caught up in the\u00a0\u00a0 leash and it dumps the food all over Riley so\u00a0<br \/>\nnow he&#8217;s covered in bacon and bacon grease okay\u00a0\u00a0 and so there&#8217;s the dogs like running all around\u00a0<br \/>\nthe park and like greeting the other dogs whoa no\u00a0\u00a0 the leash the leash like uh uh it it it it gets\u00a0<br \/>\ncaught on a sprinkler from the sprinkler system\u00a0\u00a0 it rips a sprinkler off causing a geyser to uh\u00a0<br \/>\nerupt from the middle of the dog park and then\u00a0\u00a0 uh there&#8217;s a bunch of other people at the dog\u00a0<br \/>\npark there too who are like not paying attention\u00a0\u00a0 cuz you go there to let your dog off the leash so\u00a0<br \/>\nyou can use your phone in peace for a while and\u00a0\u00a0 uh people start to look up and uh then you know\u00a0<br \/>\nthe dog is trailing like this big pipe now hanging\u00a0\u00a0 off the the leash and then all of a sudden it&#8217;s\u00a0<br \/>\nlike knocking people over and people dropping\u00a0\u00a0 their phones into the into the dog park grass and\u00a0<br \/>\nit&#8217;s all getting wet cuz of the water and then the\u00a0\u00a0 phones short out though you think phone&#8217;s going\u00a0<br \/>\nto go electrocute everybody but they don&#8217;t it&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 a mislead uh what really happens is uh Riley goes\u00a0<br \/>\nthen to the water fountain that dogs are supposed\u00a0\u00a0 to drink out of because this whole thing is\u00a0<br \/>\nlike really intense and it&#8217;s making it his\u00a0\u00a0 mouth parched and so uh Riley takes a drink and\u00a0<br \/>\nuh all of a sudden uh uh you know um uh there&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0 a mobile dog grooming uh truck that&#8217;s approaching\u00a0<br \/>\nwhile all this is happening but because of all the\u00a0\u00a0 spraying water it gets water sprayed across the\u00a0<br \/>\nwindshield and so the driver can&#8217;t see and the\u00a0\u00a0 driver&#8217;s losing control of the car and then the\u00a0<br \/>\ncar flips over and it goes all the way toward the\u00a0\u00a0 dog park and it flips and we think it&#8217;s going to\u00a0<br \/>\ncrush Riley but it doesn&#8217;t it lands right behind\u00a0\u00a0 Riley on top of a couple of other people and then\u00a0<br \/>\nRiley explodes wow and that&#8217;s how it happened wow\u00a0\u00a0 final destination and he turns into a pile of\u00a0<br \/>\nbones because that was the foreshadowing from\u00a0\u00a0 the top because what happened oh somebody\u00a0<br \/>\naccidentally pierced the engine of the dog\u00a0\u00a0 washing van with a bone a dog bone causing that\u00a0<br \/>\nexplosion that then engulfed Riley and now Riley\u00a0\u00a0 is not but a pile of bones left over all right\u00a0<br \/>\nwell done i am death
