{"id":1386686,"date":"2016-10-04T03:33:18","date_gmt":"2016-10-04T03:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/anime\/1386686\/"},"modified":"2016-10-04T03:33:18","modified_gmt":"2016-10-04T03:33:18","slug":"piano-undine-%e3%80%90aria-the-animation%e3%80%91-sheet-music-sonatina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/anime\/1386686\/","title":{"rendered":"[Piano] Undine -\u3010Aria the Animation\u3011 (Sheet Music &#8211; Sonatina)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  width=\"580\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-MuuFVCgEEI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<br \/>\nHi guys, it&#8217;s been a while!<\/p>\n<p>As some of you might&#8217;ve known, i&#8217;m taking music composition this semester and have not been uploading any real arrangements lately, there are a few reasons for this.<\/p>\n<p>Originally, I had planned to finish Undine the week after returning from Brazil (yes, my parents brought me to the Olympics!) because, this song just kept playing over my head while I was touring South America, argh! <\/p>\n<p>Then, since the beginning of the semester, and the start of music comp, i&#8217;ve been exposed to a wide variety of different forms of music by my lecturer, at the same time, i&#8217;ve been increasingly picky about my arrangement style, going through various old videos and nit picking\/ self critiquing a lot. It all came down to the point where I was having an entire week of information overload, because I couldn&#8217;t stop thinking about how I could make my arrangements sound more natural and less robotic while encompassing the new ideas i&#8217;ve learned in class.<\/p>\n<p>So yea, I was musically burned out and I briefly took a break from playing the piano, and decided to play Badminton again (after a year) instead. Since then, my mind has been a clearer on what I want to put on the Sheets, and this upload is the result. <\/p>\n<p>[ About the piece ]<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m probably not going to get a lot of views from this, at the same time, I don&#8217;t find interest in recent anime music as well, they all seem pretty, bland, to arrange. Nevertheless, this is probably one of my most satisfactory works in a long long time, since my Gunbuster piano Suite arrangement. While arranging this over the course of 5 weeks, I felt all sorts of different emotions during different times which i&#8217;ve actually sat down in-front of the piano to arrange this; calmness, sadness, dance, jolly and laughter. <\/p>\n<p>About the little &#8220;surprise&#8221; extension towards the end of Undine, I had originally planned to end it with AQUA in C-major just before the coda, because the ending of Undine didn&#8217;t feel satisfactory at all. I was honestly a little disappointed with Undine&#8217;s ending, but after much improvisation and experimentation, I decided to go with a completely different resolution, that ends in a laborious F# major, oh F# major.  <\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, I may have ruined AQUA because it&#8217;s been mixed with so many different types of ingredients, but nonetheless, I do hope you enjoy this arrangement of mine.<\/p>\n<p>Sheets and midi : http:\/\/sheet.host\/sheet\/3RUHOG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi guys, it&#8217;s been a while!
