One of them that I&#8217;ve used extensively is the descending chromatic motif from Liszt&#8217;s Piano Concerto No. 1 (https:\/\/youtu.be\/iQRhl5cnCto). I find that it suits the chromatic progression in the vocal line of this song quite well. See if you can spot it at 0:21, 1:29 and 2:19.<\/p>\n<p>The insane left hand jumps after the chorus (1:13, 3:33) are also inspired by Liszt&#8217;s bravura style. Besides this, the one-bar &#8220;cadenza&#8221; at 1:26 is a transposition from the coda of the last movement of Tchaikovsky&#8217;s Piano Concerto No. 1. Overall, I think the contrasting dynamics and articulation between different sections is also quite reminiscence of classical music.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I have to mention the fact that I have re-written the bridge section (2:19). When I tried transcribing the original guitar solo for the piano, it didn&#8217;t sound good enough. Instead, I added a short cameo of the opening theme from OVERLORD&#8217;s first season (&#8220;Clattanoia&#8221; by OxT).
