Talking Shenmue is a weekly “after show” dedicated to Shenmue the Animation. Each week, we break down the latest episode of the Shenmue anime, explain how it’s alike and different from Shenmue on Dreamcast and each host gives their overall rating (1 out of 5).
Shenmue the anime is a co-production between Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, with Telecom Animation Film providing animation duties. Sakurai Chikara, who is best known for One-Punch Man, is serving as the director, while Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki is overseeing as the show’s executive producer.
