21 years later and this movie is still one of the biggest and influential films in anime history. There will probably never be another anime film like this ever again.

On November 26, 2018, Netflix acquired the rights to add Neon Genesis Evangelion to their service in glorious HD set to be available on June 26, 2019. Unfortunately, though, a re-dub has been confirmed without the original or rebuild cast. That means there will be no preservation of the original English Dub and we will be hearing a new take on these characters. Yeah people aren’t all that happy with the new dub.
