都からの勅使を暗殺され、
虹雅渓の差配として責任を糾弾されるアヤマロ。

殺害現場に凶器の刀剣があった事から、
犯人を侍であると断定し
自身の警邏隊を動員して
街をあげての侍狩りを始める。

続々と捕縛されていく侍たち。

サムライ探しを一旦中断し、
虹雅渓最下層部に落ち延びようとする
カンベエ一行にも
警邏隊の追撃が迫る。

放置されていた貨物列車を起動し脱出を図るも、
線路を破壊され
敵もろともキクチヨが爆炎の中に消える・・・!
