Sorato regrets getting Kosei involved in his fight against the kaiju and decides to leave Taiyo Warehouse.
Following his departure, as Kosei wanders around wallowing in sadness, he runs into a researcher collecting samples. They work together and this prompts Kosei to think once more about what it is that he wants to do.
Meanwhile, after absorbing Dugrid, Eldeghimera has become even stronger and the NDF plans a massive operation to take it down.
