City The Animation Episode 9 Reaction – CITY THE ANIMATION 9話 海外の反応

What’s up, guys? Back in today with more City the Animation. This time with episode 9. Uh, fantastic episode last week. Loved it a lot. Um, especially which took up most of the episode. Especially love the boy going on a date with the woman that steals everybody’s hearts. Um, I thought that was fantastic. Uh, loved the opening segment as well. Uh, just a class episode all around. There’s usually a lot of hit or miss. More so hit with this show, but especially in like comedy, it’s very hit or miss, but last episode pretty much had a 100% hit rate. Um, yeah. Do let me know what you guys think about this one in the comments. Leave a like on the video. Off one already. Have we had I think I remember two of our races. We had three. I guess this is Oh. Oh, like an actual race. I thought like the race for like something which we saw a few episodes ago with the uh the It’s not a pocket watch, was it? was a can’t remember what they’re called but kind of locket thing. Got a race. Never done one of these honestly. Um aerobically I’ve I think it’s aerobically. I forget which way the term go but long distance and endurance wise I’ve never been too great. Um don’t want to big myself up here but I’ve got quite big leg muscles and I’ve got a lot of power and I can sprint really fast and I’m really quick off the mark. I’ve got a lot of fast twitch muscle fibers, but long distance not great. Not great at all. So, I can do like a few really good sprints at a really fast pace. Um, not for an overly long period. So, I’ve never even bothered trying to do a kind of fun race or anything like that cuz I just absolutely suck at it. But yeah, at over a sprinting distance, I’ve mentioned this before, I broke a few of my old school records, like sports days and such, so it’d be very hard to outpace me, but um yeah, over a long period, it would get a lot easier. I’d like to be like, that’s the thing. I think like when you’re one way, you really wish you were the other. Like I really wish I was endurance kind of built, but people endurance build probably wish they were maybe a bit faster. I think it’s a bit more valuable having good endurance though, isn’t it? And guaranteed we’re going to see some [ __ ] rules here again as we have with pretty much every contest in this show. Oh, says bets on as well. Oh, I guess there’s not bets on. There’s bets, but not bets. That’s pretty cool. What the hell? We got scythe. John Lon ain’t got to help you here. I love like these adventure course things. They’re always super fun to watch. Your little cheats. Look at her. She looks so happy. Is that That’s the boy that she is that the boy that she was called last episode after like 18 years. Holy crap. There’s so much going on already. Jesus Christ. It’s hard to keep up. It’s almost a bit like that episode a few episodes ago, but without all the screens on. But yeah, look at her face. I think that I think that’s the guy. I don’t remember scar like that, but I think this is the guy from her high school that she struggled to ask out. So yeah, she’s absolutely loving this little cheat though. It’s a classic one of like getting a taxi round around like the racetrack. See that in like movies and stuff. Um, yeah, a hell of a lot going on here. But I love these adventure courses. They’re really popular in Japan, Japanese TV as well, I think, aren’t they? Courses and things like this. These guys getting all the help for real. Cheating ass. You can’t be bad mouthing his master like that. Got watch out if he shoots me. Who the [ __ ] with him? A ghost runner’s hiker. Uh, he’s who’s with Oh, is the animals with him? Surely some of those animals would probably be faster than he would be, right? Vanishing. They never existed in the first place. How could they vanish? Okay, these guys are in second. They’re not doing too bad. doing too bad at all. Oh, you rat. Oh, you’ve got to get that, haven’t you? Man, if I if I didn’t already dislike these [ __ ] football players. Let go and do this. I guess they’re kind of related. Now maybe you shouldn’t have tried [ __ ] bribing him. So that’s what he was trying to do is trying to motivate her. Just stayed out of it. They probably would have done better. Look at these guys. Look how many attempts they had. Oh, these guys going to breeze past this. Jesus. Look at them. Look at their faces. They’re going to breeze past this. This was made for them. Bloody hell. You know what? I didn’t know that’s what that says. I haven’t done that since I was like under 10. used to be like uh things at my primary school similar to those something like that. God damn unlocked a core memory. Hieroglyph I think I don’t not sure about hieroglyph more just random drawings Oh, I love me some onion rings. I love me some onion rings. I would do that if I could as well. That’s my soulmate over there. What she’s thinking. playing. You’re playing your normies. Choosing the nice thing. Oh, she would as well. Yeah. [ __ ] hell. I haven’t done this in 20 years. Getting old. Oh, I was going to say is he just always in the sights just in case just in case he touches anywhere a bit funny or something? They have cheated multiple multiple multiple times. I love that reaction. You I really like this car. She does speak very strangely though, doesn’t she? It’s kind of adorable. We’re just going to have a never ending race. Is that what you’re telling me? No one can win until uh or she asks. He’s unconscious. There’s so much going like it’s it’s like it’s such a a joy and it’s incredible. There’s always so much going on. But it is like hard to keep track of everything cuz there is so much going on. But I’d much prefer there is than there isn’t is the thing cuz there’s so much love put into the show, isn’t there? And every like detail like I do like trying to like pay attention to all these like love hearts and details and such. Like there’s a lot, but as I said, you’d rather it like you’d much rather they put so much effort into it and not be able to digest everything than be able to digest everything and then not be good. But um yeah, I think this show especially is worth like a couple watches, isn’t it? What I’m trying to say here is for a reactor, it might be hard for me to react to everything that maybe you you guys might kind of like point out. for example, there’d be plenty of stuff I Why are you running like that? Why you running like holding something? Yeah, I got to jump over. [ __ ] Going around. Jesus Christ. Holy. Well, I mean, I guess the good thing is you could just run on the the top of it. Probably what I’d do probably not run carefully walk the uh on top of it. [ __ ] blob guy. Looks like he’s absorbed one girl. Oh. Oh. Oh no. Oh, look at his knee. Bloody hell. He’s had some kind of surgery on his knee. Nasty. A bad situation for those a purpose. So they’re now in first. Okay, you know what? I don’t expect these girls to be too far behind. They’re good. They’re good. They are. These guys are absolutely stuck. I don’t think those guys are moving for a while. Haven’t even seen these two, have we? Haven’t even seen the artists. Surprising considering our like usual manga cuz health. It’s kind of surprising they’re able to run considering you hear so much about again manga cuz health issues and so on. These guys, I’m expecting these guys to catch up at some point. They They can’t be lingering in fifth this whole time. I don’t even know who they are. And looks like the old man and the [ __ ] sun’s done. They’re disqualified. Don’t know what that says above them, but it isn’t a number. So, I’m assuming they’re disqualified. Okay. Just checking in. just just making sure of the positions just so you can have an accurate kind of uh yeah bit easier to keep up with than the um then the uh the crazy episode of all that stuff happened with this multiple screens. It’s a similar nature though this this arc, isn’t it? But I think this is a lot easier to understand. Fair enough. They were never winning anyway. There’s there’s not many people competing considering the amount of money on the line or bento dying. So, the old lady and uh Wacko are just chilling. So, they’re not going to be I assume they’d win to be honest with you, but I guess not. I respect them. Yeah, these guys have met before, haven’t they? Had their whole meeting last week, didn’t we? And that’s what that’s what took her to accept this autograph after all of that [ __ ] [ __ ] last week. Yeah, this is quite the paradox here, isn’t it? It’s quite the situation we got ourselves in. Not the same. Oh, is the same. Fair enough. Oh, damn. Oh dear. Oh, bloody hell. These guys. Thought they’re out of it. This a Guragan reference. Thought it was there. The whole drills. Jesus. Didn’t even see that one. All these cool events. Didn’t even get to see them. Well, there wasn’t many rules, was there? So, they are going to be competing. So they had they even had time to have a bento and they still like I see I did assume there was a lot of people as I said there was a lot of money there for just like seven people to be competing. This guy’s got no chance they um yeah again I assume the old woman and wacko are going to win to be honest. That old woman seems so competitive. This whole thing was just for their date essentially. Pretty good idea. Pretty good idea. He’s done his job. That’s the uh bless him. You can’t give up. Yeah, anything could happen. As we [ __ ] well know, anything has happened. You can’t give up. You need something to motivate you. You’re a Vega bot. Well, [ __ ] said, get that bag. Powerful. Well, I never said any of that. Anyway, come on. Let’s go. I believe I’m changing my I’m changing my fort now. Actually, no, I’m not. They’re not going to win. But I love the perseverance. Yeah, operation kill everybody else so they can win. Might be a little bit too late for that though. These these guys are absolutely steaming ahead. I’m not sure what they can do to stop these two. The drone. Let’s hope it doesn’t blow up. This awesome [ __ ] perspective here, isn’t it? Wow, I love this drone perspective. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this in anime. What was she doing? So, what’s that thing flying? Not the No, not the cute animals. No, Team Rocket right there. Now there is the zooming. What are they? Are they all getting blown up? Something’s happening to all these guys. You bastard. weren’t even real. Well, I I that wasn’t the first thing I thought there. I assumed he just replaced the image, which would have been even worse with a picture of himself. Who the [ __ ] has a picture of himself like that just to look at? Go on, girls. Incredible how far they’ve come on those stilts, isn’t it? Oh, they won. Not who I was expecting, although a strong contender right from the off. These guys are now millionaires, right? Or at least at least rich. Wow. Well done, girls. Well done. Fiercely contested as well. fiercely contested. Everything was against everyone to be honest, apart from the uh the awards girl and her crush. That’s nice. She set this up. That’s really nice about her though, isn’t it? Again, I the outcome might not be Well, the outcome was great for her, but the intention was really nice again, wasn’t it? See, chaotic episode today. Bloody hell. Loved it though. That was fantastic. Um, also, maybe the first episode only focused on like one thing throughout the whole time. We have still got a couple minutes left at the end here, so expect an end segment. But, um, yeah, I love this. and so many creative things that I love the shot with a drone like from the drone’s perspective seeing everything and everyone getting blown up which is uh I wacko is doing of course I do love her she’s fantastic and again I love her intentions there give the girls nice little sendoff gift although I also al almost think that would be a bad thing in a way because now they’ve got all this money they’re not able to spend it together. Separately, they’ve got a lot of money though, so obviously you love that, but it’s almost like, oh well, we got all this money and time and such little time to spend it together. What do we do? But yeah, they were always strong contenders. I never had them as favorites, but well done to those two and especially well done cuz I think they were the only pair that didn’t cheat. Although you could say I mean they didn’t intentionally cheat. The whole system was rigged around them to be fair. So they didn’t cheat. They certainly um had help. But yeah, I think they were the only two that didn’t cheat at all. Not that you could cheat cuz there was [ __ ] all rules in the first place. Yeah. This is how [ __ ] 15y olds spend. Yeah. [ __ ] Yeah, accurate right here. Honestly, Dai and that one from One Piece and D Mah big saying in Nana Emperor Penguin That must have been an awesome memory to be fair to them. So everybody, not just the winners, but everybody had a hell of a time I think. Is that all that is? That much paper really doesn’t feel like a lot like that, does it? It’s so cyber. What are these guys gonna like? These guys minds move around so much. I’m excited to see what exactly they will spend the money on. Could be anything. Oh, that’s lovely. Playing tickets. I love that. Going to bring a tear to my arm. That’s lovely, guys. Is that how much a plane ticket costs? Yeah, I’m not sure how. I’ll have to look up after this. England is an expensive flight to Japan. Endless snacks. Plane ticket to go see my friend after she moves away or endless snacks. That’s a lovely way to end off the episode, though. Really like that. Um, see, I think you are watching again. I do just want to look. Um, how much exactly is uh what was it? Was it a million yen? I think it was a million yen yen. Two great British pounds. 1 0 0 Oh, it’s only £5,000, which is a lot of money still. Don’t get me wrong. It It certainly sounds like a lot more, doesn’t it? When you say a million yen, you think, “Oh, that must be like £50,000.” That’s what I think. But it’s £5,000, so one less zero. Um, I don’t actually think they can afford the tickets to be honest with you. Uh, maybe maybe Yeah, I’m definitely overvaluing it, but tickets to Japan are really expensive from the UK. Um, London to Japan plane. I feel like it’s like 600 quid or a grand or something. Okay, so it’s from it’s about a,000 pounds. So yeah, they still have money left over. I I don’t know if that’s one way or not. I didn’t check. I probably should have looked, but um they still have a little bit of money left over for them some snacks afterwards, I guess. But yeah, I love the uh love the love the outcome it came to there. Like I said, it could have been anything. It could have come to any outcome. So the one they did come to here was actually really lovely, wasn’t it? And yeah, fantastic race. a lot of creative stuff in here. Um, I think it was a bit easier to follow than the last kind of race like thing that we had. Um, and that felt a bit more you understood the situation which everyone was in a little bit better. The whole kind of surrounding uh where characters were in position for example. But yeah, lots of great segments here. Absolutely loved this one. Another absolute banger of an episode.
