Arisa and today I’m reacting to a new anime called Takopi’s Original Sin or in Japanese タコピーの原罪 . 
Honestly, I don’t know anything about this anime. I’m going blind. Uh the only thing that I know it 
is that it seems to be a sad anime. So I hope I won’t need many tissues. Uh I also saw 
that it has become quite popular. So yeah, let’s see how it is and I hope I really like it. If

is octopus in Japanese. So then she just took Tako plus -pi that the way he speaks, 
Takopi. That’s quite creative to be honest. “Category”, lol Wow. What? Happy gadget…happy gadget. A creature which just comes up with a random
gadget. Doesn’t it remind you of another anime? Well, in this case, itseems 
it’s to make people happy. But yeah, which there’s another thing that I wanted to 
say. Isn’t Shizuka kind of aloof? I don’t know. She seems so calm and a bit serious. She 
didn’t react much to Takopi. Takopi said he comes from another planet. So it is an 
alien. Normally people would either react uh they would be afraid right? Of an alien or they would be extremely curious and show 
interest but she’s neither of them. It’s so happy. Takopi is so happy. Writing board? Takopi is so shocked she refused 
to hear. He doesn’t understand. Oh. You can see in her bag some writings, some disturbing things right written there. 
And her bag is all messed up like wrong. Um, How can I say… I forgot the word. And the way she 
said that last part, she seems kind of depressed. So she she is suffering from depression and from 
her bag it seems like she’s suffering from uh is it a bullying or something 
at school? Yeah, that’s bad. That’s bad. She doesn’t even show interest in flying. 
Like anyone would like to fly. Oh my god. The bag. Oh, what’s right in the 
bag? Oh my god. Oh my god. This is bad. What I could see there like “die” and “trash”. Oh, poor Shizuka. Oh my god. How did come to this conclusion? It doesn’t understand why she would refuse to fly. She’s hiding from other children. Are these the ones? What is wrong with these people? Why? Why do those things? He doesn’t understand malicious intent, It seems, and what Shizuka is going

won’t it? This will crush me for sure. “Happy fruits” lol Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. My god, this is so deep. She is a 
broken child. I don’t know if she also faces abuse at home. I don’t know. We still
don’t know. She clearly still loves her father. So I don’t know the circumstances 
in which he had to leave her behind but she believes that she cannot go living with her father. So either her father 
died or her mother doesn’t allow her to see her father or her father just 
abandoned her and she believes otherwise. She thinks otherwise. Her depression is so severe. 
She doesn’t believe in anything. She’s a child that doesn’t believe in 
magic. She’s a child that doesn’t get interested in gadgets. Children are are usually 
naturally curious with anything they don’t know. If a children were offered a gadget that 
would would make them fly, any children, any children in the world would be interested in 
flying or in a camera that prints a photography, which children nowadays don’t know what 
those are. They don’t know. They don’t know, right? This is crazy. Oh my god, it’s so bad. Her situation is so bad! Oh my god. He still doesn’t understand her. He 
still doesn’t, he keeps misunderstanding her. Oh, it’s like a mission Rules? No. What are the rules? So his mother sent him on a mission to other 
planets so he could spread happiness through his gadgets. But he has rules which he

out. I actually want to know how her mother 
is. I want to know how her mother is. We still don’t know her mother. Well, this was the first 
episode of Takopi’s original sin. I cried more than I thought I would. It was more depressing, sadder than I thought it would. 
I was not expecting this. I was really not. And the issue is deeper than I thought, right? And all of these childrens are miserable and 
they are suffering because of adults, because of their choices, their mistakes and they just ignore 
what they are making their children going through and I’m pretty sure that’s a reality 
for many childrens and Maybe many of you had gone through something like this.
I’m sorry I cannot empathize, truly empathize with your situation because I have not gone 
through situations like this. Uh but it’s yeah it’s really painful. Uh I don’t 
know where this story will go but What I really want for this story is that 
Takopi can finally understand her situation, her story. How deeper, how deep is 
the scar, the wound in her life and also of the people that is around 
her including Marina the blonde girl, right? She’s just using Shizuka as an excuse to relieve 
her frustrations, her anger, and for her her mother, Shizuka’s mother is at fault. She’s the person who is making her life miserable. But that’s not 
true, right? It’s her parents. Okay? Obviously, Shizuka’s mother is also involved, but it’s primarily 
her parents, the father and the mother. The mother who is still married with a man who is openly 
cheating on her and she’s miserable and she’s making her child miserable. So what I think will happen 
here in this story is Takopi getting to understand how complex human beings and how complex the 
emotions of a human beings and how these emotions reflect on their actions which what happened with 
Shizuka at the beginning right and how he will help Shizuka to overcome her struggles and 
maybe maybe maybe make up with Marina and that both can actually understand each 
other and how they are actually the victims of their parents’ choices and mistakes. 
This is becoming too long. I’m sorry. This is all I can say for now
