This Anime Opening is……. | Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Opening & Ending REACTION 怪獣8号

All right, it’s time for Kaiju opening and ending reaction time. I hope that the opening is good. I loved Kaiju season one opening and ending. [Music] Are you of soul? Slow burn. In the beginning right now, all we’re getting is English and creepy sounds. I’m not sold, but let it cook. to lose control. Are you holding on? It’s building up. It’s building up. [Music] Visuals are tricky. But you know, you can’t run from yourself. Do you dream of hair? I dream of hell. [Music] It’s very soft spoken so far. [Music] Okay. The kaiju visuals are some sort of like cosmic horror It’s pretty cool. The song so far though, it’s it’s just very softspoken. It’s it’s not hitting that oomph for me. Sometimes I fear for your soul. You can try to hide it. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. You can’t run from yourself. Disappointing. Sorry. That’s how I feel. Season one opening and ending. I I felt like like somebody come and save me. There was a very like heart-wrenching emotional feel and I was like, “Yeah, yeah.” The beat and everything. This one is just [Music] the visuals are cracked, but when I listen to anime openings, I’m not I’m I’m trying to judge the song. The visuals though, very stunning, very cinematic. Again, it it’s it’s it’s solid, but like the song is too soft spoken for me. And again, music is subjective. Maybe you enjoy it, great. But to me, it’s just I want Young Bloodood back, bro. Yeah. Save my life. That Young Bloodood was great. This opening, it’s kind of like Dond Don uh ending where I talk about like how the visuals are cracked and it’s just like a visual just like masterpiece, but then the song itself is like you can do better than that. All right, now let’s check out the ending of Kaiju season 2. Okay, the piano’s nice. Oh, [Music] sounds familiar. [Music] This is the same group that did season one stuff, right? It’s the West. Yeah. One Republic, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Right. Right. I like it. while you’re in the shadow building. I actually prefer the vocals here more than the opening too. The way that he does the falsetto kind of pitch and kind of like almost like almost breaks the voice but doesn’t with the piano theme aesthetically just like it sounds better to me. That beat too. The beat is nice. something more. [Music] The visuals are really depressing though. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Maybe the light will illuminate onto others now. Here we go. [Music] Way better. Way better music. You got to title literally called beautiful colors as the visuals get illuminated with the colors. Ending beats opening. No question for me. And for an ending, man, the visuals are great. Usually ending visuals are very simple. all your beautiful colors. Beautiful voice. I personally think the ending is way better than the opening. The opening again just felt flat. I kind of it’s it’s very soft spoken. It’s a very different style to me. The ending sounds way better. The music, the beats, the vocals all beats the opening for me. In terms of visuals, though, obviously the opening takes it. But what I care about is the song

  1. I loved the OP song personally, prolly coz I like Aurora's music. But it doesn't work that well as an OP for an anime.

  2. 4:37 "My name is Kafka Hibino. I accidentally swallowed a parasitic kaijufly. And, for the last several months, I am the one and only Kaiju No. 8. I'm pretty sure you know the rest."

  3. Ed is far far better than op!!!
I like aurora's music and vocals were also good here but nah man its not the same vibes and doesn't suit the anime

  4. No hate or nothing. But I could watch S2 op visuals with Yung blud's op 1 music instead.
The song isn't bad, I see what they're going for. But it really gotta be the softest opening song I've heard, especially when you're matching it with intense visuals packed with action
The visuals are both 1:30 for both ops

  5. I actually played the first op music over the the 2nd op visuals. AND NOTHING FELT OUT OF PLACE. It's intense, dark. It feels from start to finish

  6. That ending hits like a damn truck man, perfect mix of melancholy/sadness and hopefulness/humanity's perserverance. Gives me major AMV vibes but in the best way possible. Really appreciate that this anime is trying something new with the music.

  7. I enjoyed the opening, considering what's gonna happen this season, it matches the theme of what's happening to Kafka.

  8. I think that the song from op 2 is good on its own but just doesn’t match the vibes of the visuals (which are good on their own too)

  9. I think it's trash season 1 hit hard, if you do each season it should hit harder every season like shangri-la frontier every arc hits harder than the last
