Let’s have fun and have fun~♪ Let’s draw~!!🥰 Yes! Hello! I’m NINO!!🥰 Thank you for watching! This time I would like to draw the cover illustration of the “Sandland” comic! First of all, I’ll start with the outline! I’ll draw the center line and then draw light lines! This time, I’m drawing three characters for the first time, and a mecha, which I’m not good at, but I’ll do my best to draw them, so I hope you’ll watch until the end! Now, the illustration this time is the cover illustration of the “Sandland” comic. It was actually released as a movie once in 2023 , but the anime will start broadcasting from June 28, 2025 this year! So , I’ve never drawn this illustration before! I thought so and drew it this time! However, when I think of Sandland, I think of a mecha , and this illustration is also drawn by many people who are much better than me, so I feel embarrassed to draw it… I can’t draw it that well… I was a little worried, but if I draw it and it’s impossible, it’s okay! I decided to try my best to draw it! So, the difficult part of the rough sketch was, of course, the mecha , but this diagonal composition from above made it even more difficult to draw the illustration, and I was drawing the rough sketch without really knowing what I was drawing or if I was drawing it well! 🤣 After the rough sketch was completed, the next step was coloring! I’m going to paint the background! That said, it’s a solid yellow like the original picture, but there were some uneven colors, so I had to paint it over and over again, which was difficult! After the background was painted, the next step was to paint the characters! As usual, I painted the light and pale colors first, and then painted the dark and deep colors little by little! The difficult part of coloring the characters this time was that they were so detailed, and there were so many colors to use, and I also had to mix colors because I didn’t have the color I wanted, so it was very difficult! It’s almost finished! Finally, it’s time for the finishing inking! First, I’m going to use a round pen to draw thin lines! No, there are so many small details, so I’m really worried about whether I’m inking them properly! 🤣 I’m inking them while my hands are about to cramp up! Then, I used a G pen to fill in small details and add thick lines to create a three-dimensional effect! Finally, I signed it… and there you have it! It’s finished!! 🥰 [Production time: 6 hours 58 minutes] So, this illustration was the cover illustration for the “Sandland” comic! What did you think?
