All right, Silent Witch opening time. Let’s see if it’s as good as good as the anime. Oh, visuals are cracked. [Music] Okay, let it cook till the chorus. [Music] Strong female vocals. [Music] Vocals are nice. Overall impression of this opening is the female vocals are nice, but there’s kind of like this like I don’t know repetitive uh guitar theme in the background that’s a bit like kind of damp, you know? [Music] course is beautiful and the visuals around stunning. [Music] Yes, ocean ending influence. I completely agree. The music choice, the instruments, the vocals, the way that it’s sang. [Music] Okay. [Music] I think again the visuals are just spectacular. It It’s stunning. It’s amazing. But I don’t really care about anime opening visuals. I care more about the song. The vocals are nice. The female vocals, right? It’s it’s strong and there’s a nice dynamic range. But the background music and the instrumentals, I don’t think I’m the biggest fan of it. you know, the repetitive strumming of the guitar tones. It sounds damp and it sounds repetitive. It’s the same, you know, overall judgment I gave you on Dandan Ending 2. Not saying it sounds the same, but there’s a similar rhythmic, you know, redundancy in the noises that I’m hearing the background music that I’m just kind of like about, but still the vocals are amazing. All right, let’s check out the ending of Silent Witch now. Okay. Guitar strumming. Oh, the bass note. [Music] Maybe I like the background music here more, the beat. [Music] It’s pretty chill. [Music] Oh, that was nice. The harmonized vocals there. [Music] So let [Music] [Applause] [Music] I don’t know. It’s just chill. It’s nice. Nothing too crazy, you know. [Music] A look at her friends and she’s smiling. The I think the background music, the guitar strumming, it’s a bit more I guess like flavorful if that makes sense. It it sounds like more less like damp like I mentioned in the opening, but the vocals I think I prefer in the opening. The ending though, still it’s nice, right? It’s it’s nice and it’s um I don’t know, there’s nothing really to say about it. Doesn’t really stand out one way or the other. It’s not bad. It’s not great. It’s just kind of enjoyable.

This show is so beautiful man
This opening was done by studio Andraft, the studio that the previous Chainsaw Man director started after he left MAPPA. They been slowly gaining experience with smaller works before taking on a full anime. Last season they did that doctor anime opening with aimer and now this.

I think they should have gone with piano or violin rather than guitar for this series, TBH. A more classical instruments take would fit the overall vibe of the series much better. But the visuals for the OP are stunning, and as a florigraphy nerd I appreciate the focus on flowers in the ED. The flowers in the ending are Yellow Lilacs (New Beginnings), Baby's Breath (Innocence), Lavender Cotton (Virtue), and blue daisies (Long Term Loyalty and Trust)

listening to this opening 2 times. I feel like the vocal and the instrument is not going the same way, like the vocal keep going up and up while the guitar and drum aren't following but just chilling at the background, maybe following a little at the chorus but after that is just chilling.
